Thanks for the vid. It would be great if you said what ammo you felt worked best, only you know if the groups reflected the ammunition or how well you aimed for them.

In this video I only shot the Hornady 143gr ELD-X and was mostly just shooting for a bit of fun. I've two other videos where I do factory ammunition tests with the Sig Cross. You can see how the Hornady cartridges perform there.

What scope you running? Vortex Strike Eagle? Have the rifle on the way and need glass. Please and thank you

I'm running with a Vortex Viper PST Gen 2, 3-15 x 44 FFP. I probably wanted a bit more magnification, but I didn't want to add too much weight to the rifle, so I stuck with the smaller configuration. Overall I'm happy with the choice, glass is nice an clear. This is my first FFP scope, so that is an interesting departure from SFP, but I like it. Only thing I don't like about it so much is the big knobs and lack of turret caps to stop accidental clicks. Other than that, though, it's a great scope.

What are you getting for average muzzle velocity for the ELD-X?

Sorry, I don't have a chronograph yet, so can't give you a number. I based my numbers on the box muzzle velocity of 2700fps, subtracted approx 150fps (25fps for each inch less than 24in barrel length as per kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWiopoSdlrmfpbM ), which lands us at at an estimated 2550fps. I plugged that into the Hornady ballistics calculator to get a result. Was pretty much on the money, just slightly high.
