Quick and to the point along with showing the Sig Sauer competitor tac light and giving your opinion why you prefer the TLR which I absolutely agree, I have heard nothing but bad things regarding the Sig tac light which saddens me because im a HUGE Sig fanboy owning 4 of them but that’s ok Sig, stick to what you know and stay out of the tac-light arena haha. I've had the pistol and the light for about 4 months now and honestly I don't notice it.. in fact I think 1) it looks nicer, 2) it allow for a nice memory spot for shooting, my my thumb either rests on the light or on the takedown lever and my supporting index finger fits nicely under the light allow the gun to almost rest on my supporting hand. overall i find this to be a very nice combination without adding additional bulk. Also fits very nicely in my MIE productions holster.

so i just got this light for my p365 about a month ago, installed good watching this vid and i went to the range today and the first mag i shot, the battery door came off and the batteries fell. i didn’t even notice til my buddy pointed it out one of the batteries on the floor couldn’t find the other one, a little concerned now...

The problem I see is having the light come on when all you want, and it takes too long to activate in a real situation. Something is needed to turn on the laser when your finger is in the trigger guard or something.

You'll want Sig's Lima light/laser for that. It integrates with the trigger-guard and puts an activation button right under your middle finger on the grip.

100 lumens for inside the house is plenty. How well does it maintain a zero after going through a box or two of ammo at the range? Is it pretty good with maintaining? I like it but it’s a bit too chunky for such a small gun. Agree with the other post. It Sort of defeats the purpose for me. If I want a light and laser for a home defense end table or night stand gun I would definitely be interested in something like this but I would put it on a larger higher capacity gun.

That looks like hell! What the hell good is 100 lumens. I have a olight mini 2 600 lumens on my CZ P-01, very bright and minimal. Awaiting o light to come out with the mini for Sig P-365. The worst shooting I see at the range is laser shooting! viet vet 68-69.

Been shooting for 50 years. My night time shooting drills, with laser is considerably faster onto center mass target than I could ever do with irons at night. Especially with a pistol light that lights up whatever smoke the powder produces and creates additional visual difficulties. Laser helps, a little, cutting thru that and the dust (live in desert area) when I am lower to the ground. I have untold thousands of rounds during night shooting, there isn’t any doubt whatsoever laser assisted shooting, at least for self defense situation is faster than irons. It’s not gonna punch the centers out of paper and that’s not the intent. If I want to center punch , I would not bother with laser though. Two completely different scenarios and before developing and broadcasting opinions it might prove beneficial to be specific in describing an observation. There are many pros and cons of lasers, I certainly would consider all before writing them off without experiencing all situations in which they can be used.

100 lumen, RED laser... No and No. Red laser old tech. No worky outdoors as well as GREEN. My kid's night light has 100 lumens. I realize these are powered by a small battery, so this is probably the best that they could do. Crimson trace's new unit for the Sig is only 100 lumens too.

I agree TLR 6 is just too old, When it first came out it was a nice option but it’s been out for years now. Hoping they release a newer higher lumen model. Although it might be 100 lumens but at least it’s 2,000 candela, so there’s that

Battery over charging when it comes to gun lights imo. Let’s say the electrical grid goes down for whatever reason and your shit is either barley charged or not at all? You’re out of a vital component. Battery’s always and stock up on them.

I'm just now starting to look for a light for my P365.. I'm not "into guns" much at all. However what the fuck is up with 100 lumens on all these lights??? That is absolutely abysmal lighting.

It’s because these are defense edc guns. All you need is to light up to get a sight picture and if you haven’t noticed by the size of the pistol that it’s designed to have a really small footprint. Higher lumens=bigger light. You can also put the olight baldr mini 2 on it with the recover tactical rail (which adds more bulk) they are starting to make holsters for that setup too. I might get the olight so I can use it with my ar15 as well.
