it all depends on what you are fishing for. Inshore - I never use anything bigger than 20 lb braid with 25 or 30 lb flouro. Offshore depends on what your fishing for - 30 lb braid with 40 or 50 lb flouro.

thanks for the bait check, we catch fish called mulloway in the swan river (perth, western australia) at some sunken yachts/barges and in the same area its where we catch blue swimmer crabs with drop nets. mullet or small tailor (bluefish to you guys) is the normal bait but after watching this vid im going to try a half crab bait as blue swimmer crabs and mulloway are very similar to your blue crab and redfish. converting your fishing methods to the otherside of the planet, nice!

Pulled a dozen trout out of the river in Titusville tonight, about 18-21 inches a piece. Tomorrow morning, gonna see if the reds are hitting as good.

This must have been the typical hot 🥵 and muggy summer in this episode you guys fished in. It’s like that now hard to go when you have to work in it to.

@guahould depends on what they want to eat . . . we always try artificials but you never know. Live bait is a guarantee usually.

Come to North Carolina if you want to catch monster redfish. Dad caught one well over 50 lbs last week. 10 of the 16 record red drum have been caught in North Carolina, including the 94 lb world record largest red drum. NC is the capital of the red drum aka redfish world.

Addictive Fishing Thanks. We fished the Pamlico last week. It can be tough fishing and a lot of work. I worked my ass off with those popping corks for 12 hours. Caught a 13" flounder and a 6 inch croaker. But got to see my Dad catch his biggest red ever. So it was an exhausting day, but well worth it to see my dad reel in a monster.

How many fish do you think you have caught?

cut ladyfish, mullet heads, or crabs . . . if it's on the bottom, a redfish, a black drum or a catfish is going to eat it.
