One thing I adore about Romero's maps is that he does not go by others rule than his own. He focuses less on powerplay and more on survival. He makes Ultra Violence the high bar rather than the default. No ssg bub. This be Doom 1. Sigil feels like what Episode 3 had been like if he designed all the Doom episodes.

While Sigil and Sigil 2 are neat as Doom 1 wads, I'm pretty excited to see what Romero does with the Doom 2 bestiary. Partly because Doom 2's expanded roster makes for more intricate encounters, and partly because too many cacodemons can overtomato the sauce. Don't get me wrong, I like tomatoes in stuff, but even someone like ME can get tired of punching da angy tomato.

I tried looking for it through an ost playlist since I'm assuming it's from the sigil soundtrack but unless it's from like the middle or very end of one of the songs, I can't seem to find it. The likelihood of another comment already explaining the iblis situation is high, But I might as well say it anyway. There's a current fangame in the works called project-06, and this developer ChaosX is remaking the entirety of Sonic06 in unity with all the bugs and glitches removed. While not a complete game as of this comment, it has completely reignited passion for sonic06 in the best way possible. That, and the fact that Sonic 06 is 17 years old at this point. I don't think I can feasibly interpolate the amount of excitement people have for this fan game.
