I also have all three lenses. I could stay with only 30mm which is most versalite and beautifuly neutral. I am a bit disappointed with 16mm, it's to wide for me also introduces too much distortion, so I do not use it very often. I would love 24mm instead (~35mm FF equivalent). Personally for portraits I prefer 30mm instead 56mm but I love using this short Tele occasionally to catch special perspective in landscape photography but finally I also use it less than expected.

I have the 16mm and 56mm .16 awesome for wideshot like Labdscape and Architectures ,56mm is Brilliant for Portrait shots.

I recently bought the 16mm and I am pretty satisfied with it and Im searching for 30 and 56 for resales. Anyways, I appreciated your video with these comparisons which I used for research and made decisions :)

30mm: weakest in terms of performance, but most versatile. Easiest to compose with too. 16mm: mid level in terms of performance, but very niche in usage. Largest and heaviest of the three. 56mm: best in terms of performance, but also more specific use. Smallest and lightest of the three. In summary: (for me personally) choose based on the angle of view needed first; then consider either quality/ size & weight.

That is an interesting question with so many variables, I personally would go for the 18-50 sigma f2.8 and then 1 prime, prob 56mm then you are covered with all options.

I have the entire trio since two years now. The quality of images taken is very superb compared to other lenses. During the past 6 months several times I thought about a change to an equivalent zoom lens, e.x. the new Sigma 18-50mm or the Sony 16-55mm. The Sony offers the better image quality, but the f2.8 is a certain disadvantage compared to the f1.8 of the trio. As I’m using the lenses for night/street photography, the trio offers better quality. If I compare the Sigma trio with the new Sigma zoom 18-50, without any doubt, I stay with the trio. Overall, the trio comes with the best image quality.

I wouldnt say they are incredibly sharp... i paired it with m6ii the very demanding 33 mp sensor it is just ok , my efm 22mm f2.0 is sharper than these trio
