21 Weeks today with a boy. Can't wait to see him at the Anatomy scan in 3 days ❤ finally starting to feel his strong movements (it is okay if you do not before 22 weeks you likely have an anterior placenta and it is cushioning the quickening). They also sleep lots during the day because you moving kind of rocks them and they sleep a lot. 😊❤

That first statement is very inaccurate, you can feel fetal movements as early as 13 weeks. They just get more intense as baby gets bigger. Your baby isn’t really measured or weighted in the later part of your pregnancy as you usually only get about 2-3 ultrasounds throughout the pregnancy. Your stomach is instead measured every check up and should match or be over the week you currently are, for example if you’re 30 weeks your stomach should measure 30cm and so on. And weight is not always a factor of healthy pregnancy, some women have morning sickness up until the second trimester and actually lose weight during that time. So ladies please if you are experiencing any of this do not let it make you feel as though you have to stress over the health of your little one. I have some issues with some of these. Not all pregnancy have immediate weight gain in the range given. During the first trimester I loss weight due to ongoing nausea. Two inches every month does not seems as likely. The first time I saw my baby at 5 weeks they were not even an inch but the length of a eyelash. Not all the time during second and third trimester do your baby move around. They do sleep at times which is no movement. I'm on my first pregnancy high risk and researched as much as I could.

@@meliamedaverman3558 As long as your baby is growing,your ok.You and your baby need Prenatal vitamins, usually some extra folic acid ,and Vit D to prevent Autism I’ve heard Vit D is excellent for baby’s growing brain. Always ask your OBGYN first ok. Prenatal vitamins are important vitamins before,during and after pregnancy. Every pregnancy is different. Ultrasound should show healthy baby . Just out your feet up ,if you have any swelling,see Dr ok. Edema is swelling feet. You need to make sure you don’t have toxemia. Don’t change cat litter,or get friends to / toxoplasmosis . Enjoy sweetheart. Toughen those nipples up if ur nursing. It will really help. Wearing a nursing bra with flap down, so Areola toughens up against shirt . Babies are strong. You want it chapped so your baby latches on = less painful. Great milk though .The more the baby drinks the more milk you make. It takes 3-4-5-+ days to come in ,but baby’s still getting colostrum,which is so important and healthy! Protects baby’. ❤️ I wish you well and a healthy safe baby and birth .
