Been in no contact for 5 months. Within that time I have found out who she really is as person and she has also been with 3 different guys since then that I know of. I truly don't think I want her back at all after finding all that out. Also my life has gotten so much better since we broke up I've realized a lot of the stress and issues I was having was because of her and the issues she had going on in her life. I have been doing nothing but working on my self and showing my self the love and respect I deserve. I do think it was a blessing in disguise that we broke up. It’s been a month on my side. We were living together. She cheated, and broke up hiding me the truth, saying that after 8 years of relations, the love was not there anymore. I discovered the truth and informed her that i learnt. It helped me to accept the reality, because i was denying the truth at the beginning and i wanted to remain friend with her. At some point i was angry, and sent her a hard but necessary message to tell her that she was vicious and manipulative and then no contact on my side. For you to know, the girl was already on vacations with her rebound relation, without having moved her stuff from our flat. At some some point she had to pass at home to get some stuffs and to be honest, she acted exactly the way i expected : crying, apologizing, regretting, saying how much i’m the best.. I know that in a way she may have passed the euphoria phase.. and know that she’s in a sort of depressing phase. I was impacted by her speech, but honesty and honour are key for me. I’ll will not come back with her, even if my heart and my fear of being single again are pushing me to do the contrary. I’ll focus on myself rather than blocking on the past, by doing things for myself only (culture, workout, family, friends). At the end this situation is a blessing for me ☪️ 🤲 . Religion is also helping me to move forward as i know that i’m not alone in this situation, and by pushing me in order to move my ass to avoid remaining blocked in sadness ! To conclude, i’ll certainly be stronger in the future, i want to focus on myself and take my time to rebuilt something strong with someone who TRULLY deserves it.

​@ritapeters1330 hi Rita, my wife and I had broken up in March 2022 of 19 years after I found out she had cheated on me, now, I haven't been a Saint either, yes I have cheated before we got married in 2005 before we actually tide the knot in 2006. Throughout the years, we've had many ups and downs as any regular relationship would, especially due to social media. Fast forward to 2019, she found out I had an affair because of the lack of attention and acknowledgment she wasn't giving me since 2017. In 2021, still under Covid, I found out she had an affair since 2017, way before she found out about mine. Since the breakup of 2022, I had moved out, and I did the no contact for a few months and she reached out, we went on dates, she would sleep over, and sometimes be intimate. In June of 2023, we went to Cancun as a couple in my eyes, even though, I never set the title, she did, but I was still skeptical of committing. During the breakup in April of 2023, I accidentally got someone pregnant, where I was freaking out, not knowing what to do or say. Twins were born, I confessed, she was mad, then later understood that we weren't together when this happened, she then later claimed to accept that the twins would be there as she wanted to fix the relationship. Fast forward to now, we would go on dates, either to the movies, dinner, drinks, and sometimes sleep over again, I started catching feelings for her again, and when she would ask me what are we, I would say, "I'm not sure as I still don't trust you" a month later she claims to have potentials, which is why I couldn't trust her as I already knew someone is entertaining her. As of August she confessed to having a boyfriend and doesn't want to fix things with me as this new guy treats her better according to her. She claims she doesn't want to hurt him but still is in contact with me, no we're not doing anything, but she still texts often and calls here and then, why? Why does she still in contact with me if she's in a new relationship.

Most “dumpers” are “avoidant” ….they are avoiding painful hard conversations. When therapist talk about loss of attraction, they aren’t talking about physical attraction. They are talking about the dumper losing attraction for the relationship/marriage in general. My husband asked for a divorce through email 😅🤦🏻‍♀️. Didn’t want the painful tough conversation.

So I’ll start by saying I’m in a much better place than July 2nd . Thats when my x of over 5 years ended things . The longest we’ve went no contact is 17 days and then she started reaching out with breadcrumbs but this past Saturday she reached out saying I miss you alot and I think about you everyday . We texted the rest of the day and she later said I still don’t think It’s a good idea if we talk but I’d like to meet with you in a month or two when we’re both fully healed 🤷. I feel fine and am thinking what’s the wait for. Since she’s reached out already a few times should I just send her a text trying to jumpstart this in person meeting or just continue falling back

How long does it usually take them to crack? I gave her the breakup without begging, I said I was very sad to say the least and just wanted her to be happy. It’s been just over 2 months no contact. I have heard on other channels with women if you do no contact they will just move on and it really only works on men. If they rebounded how long does it take for them to crack and reach out in that scenario? I’m assuming they would be in honeymoon phase for a few months at least and it could prolong it. I am distraught and feel sick from this. It came out of nowhere, she was suffering from depression and wasn’t eating or sleeping much, so I believe that played a role. @ourworldfinallyelaine just to let you know that I have been working on me and been doing quite well with things that I have to deal with I just couldn't understand why she couldn't do the same everyday it seemed like she would come up with more things to cuose more problems when we don't need it I really tried to be there for her and and to show that she is loved and cared for but that is still not enough I can truly say that I'm done with her I had to go to zoom court because of her they threw it out be I just can't believe that she toke it this far it's really sad that I need no who I was dealing I promise I will never be put in a relationship like this again it hurts like he'll because it's like living with a stranger damn but I'm glad that it's over but I will never forget it
