Great fight. I don't think any of Ebinuma's throws were "overthrows", I think it was purely Zantaraia's crazy uke defense.

Absolutely awesome fight, absolutely terrible decision. I think even Ebinuma would have rather got the chance to win by a throw than penalties. Should have been at least one, maybe two more mate's given we were in golden score and the attacks were still coming - rules are one thing but exciting judo should always be allowed to play out as a fight!

Agree. These two were all out, I saw more in these ten minutes than in hours of other matches. They gave up all their repertoire, and managed not to get one single score!...Unreal, metaphysical, beyond technique... It's NOT about the show, this was about the fight...we should have seen the ippon to end the match.

i dont care about the players. the real mvp is the referee. she called everything to a t, and didnt take any of the calls to chance- she went right to the jury when she needed to. very very very professional referee who know what she was doing.
