The lecture provides CFR with an annual forum to explore emerging challenges in refugee and migration policy in the United States and around the world.

A very boring echo-chamber 'lecture'... Economy is not the only factor playing into the governments' decision-making about legal and illegal migrants. Too much immigration will have an impact on a country's social cohesion and culture, which the native population always will resist/resent. That is why we have right-wing governments in all countries affected by both types - even Canada is feeling pain from it now with its housing market.
