Is this really what people are subjected to during commercial breaks in Thailand? Shit's more heartwrenching than whatever movie you were watching before the break.

The man is deaf mute. His daughter is been bullyed at school because of that and the "bad" job of her father. She is really sad. In her mind, nobody understands her. Until she finds a boyfriend. Her father is not okay, with that guy. But his daughter does not care. He breaks up with her after a while. Now, she wants to commit suicide. But her dad finds her and to save her life, he spends all his blood for her.

Out of my own denial I'm filling the ambiguous ending with my own denial and refusal of this sad bullshit: the dad later wakes up to see his daughter who realizes that she should love her dad and then her dad tells her everything he said while in his sleep and happy birth day, a few weeks later they get discharged from the hospital and realize that Thai life insurance covered their bill so they're all good. The end

Is not about "being too much" as a commercial, but it shows how strong love is...How a father would do anything for his child no matter if he cant talk, hear, walk or whatever.. I love this add man , it gives meaning again to the ones that have forgotten about how important love is...

@ksol1460tv7 жыл бұрын
He felt the vibration when she hit the floor. Deaf people are very sensitive to vibrations and can even "hear" things like loud organ music from the air vibrations. Watch Dame Evelyn Glennie. She is a percussionist and bagpiper (yes!) who is profoundly deaf, just takes her shoes off when she plays. You can see her in the Industrial Revolution dramatization at the London Olympics opening ceremonies.

I feel bad, because this was supposed to be very moving and touching, but I didn't understand it well enough. I have too many questions. Did the daughter not learn sign language if her father's deaf and mute? Being around him her whole life. Did she attempt suicide? Besides the social stigma I suppose is attached to it, shown by the bullying... what was she so upset about? Especially if she could understand him, being raised by a deaf person he would've taught her sign language--he's been an excellent father to her. I just don't understand it.
@Soup-sandwich10 жыл бұрын
He's not deaf. He's mute. She wants to feel like a normal kid with a normal parent. Yes she attempted suicide

I think it's as if she feels the father does understand her, shown when they got into a fight in the beginning of the video.

shes a typical modern selfish teenager , the commercial is stupid cuz the father died cuz they gave her all his blood , they would just giver her transfusion not risk the father, so he dies now the selfish twat can enjoy her loving fathers blood money

***** If you were constantly bullied and not understood by a parent, besides of the mood swings and that stuff teenagers get, I bet you would be quite upset.

@haechseul13 жыл бұрын
Wow. I never expected a commercial to have a massive impact on me. I can totally relate to the last part since my father has passed away as well, (but from a different reason), but the face that she neglected her father was really unacceptable to me. If I was with my father right now, even if he was mute, I'd still cherish and love him cause I knew he loved me. Gosh, my tears won't stop falling.

I think level term insurance is the way to go 100%. I have done so much research in the past month. There are a few companies that "shop" the market in order to find you cheapest level term policy. I went with 1st Option Insurance because they shop more companies than the rest. Thanks Bill
@BloodylocksBathory8 жыл бұрын
This is a good take on the lives of people who are deaf/hard of hearing/mute, because not only do they experience prejudice but also their children, just because the parent is different. This can often force the child to "grow up" faster, be it simply interpreting or helping to look after younger siblings, and they can understandably have unhappy feelings about it.
