The performance this suppressor offers on a pistol in 45 is Ming boggling! FRP is quieter than some full sized 45 pistol cans. While only being possibly a little louder overall by 1-2dB. Would you agree with this? It seems it really more than outperforms the modular cans, when there configured in there short length.

Works nice on Ruger LC45 with 3 lug. Cases very sooty after ejection with pmc 45 230grain.

with the MPX, how is the blowback gas/ debris on the 45k versus 9k ? Also, is the sound similar to the omega 9k with 9mm rounds?

The sound on the 45K different, it's a bit more of a full tone to it... but to the shooter is fairly similar. Regarding blowback, I've shot a bunch of different MPXs with a whole lot of different cans. (Even a select fire MPX with a Harvester... don't do that.) I can't really understand why on Earth people think the MPX has bad blowback. I've had it once with some reloaded, dirty ammo... but it wasn't "bad" it was just noticeable. I can't tell a difference between blowback with the 9K or 45K.... but I'm not overly sensitive to it at all.

Yes, I don't see why it wouldn't. That would be a good choice for either of those guns.

I would have to look at number to be certain, but in terms of listening to them they sound different but close in terms of dB reduction. The 45K is quite a bit smaller though.

How did you get an F stock on a K?

It's actually not a K gun, it's a reverse stretch--- mix of both sizes. full size pack and stock, but a "K" upper.

Volume will generally make things more quiet, but a larger bore aperture will make them louder. Between 9 and 45 cans, generally they are about the same in terms of dB reduction, but they can be on either side of the fence.

I have an Octane 45. Not sure this is worth buying. It’s only 2” shorter. If it was as short as the 9k I’d be all over it. Maybe if they have another $200 rebate I’ll jump on it

The big difference is the Octane 45K us user-serviceable, but the Omega 45K sounds a little bit better.
