It’s cool to see someone who apparently works hard for what they want in a build, and slowly makes it happen. Has motivated me to spend a little hard earned money on some things that I realize now is actually a better value than some other budget items, while still being smart. 👍👍

FWIW my Polo 30 is louder than I expected on .300BO but I know no one who has one to compare it to. I was worried about .300 subs not cycling with a low back pressure can. My BO is a Faxon 9” Gunner 1:7 and it’s wide open with a fixed block. Puts 150gr supers and 200-220gr subs in the same pile with A5H2 Green Springco and has very consistent accuracy. Polo 30 on 16” .308” does about as well as my Polonium does on my 11.5” 5.56 Pretty happy with my choices for my first cans. Really wanting a Diligent Defense Enticer L and my next build will be a 6” Faxon 1:5

The Velos LBP 7.62 is a great can. To my ears it's just as quiet as my higher back pressure cans. It solved my suppression problem on my X95 (I was trying to run the OCL Polo K which is a great can also) but the pressure was too much for the X95 without some modifications that I did not want to pay for. I am surprised I do not see a lot more love for it. She is a bit on the hefty side but in the word's of Boris the Blade "Heavy is good, heavy is reliable..."

I own one (556 lpb) and am completely blown away. The tone is perfect, and the ASR system works great. Going to buy the k can. Good news is a 14.5 pinned and welded with the CLOSED tine 3-prong brings it to 16 for those interested. The open tine is just too short. RC3 fireball killer. Great vid sawtooth.
@sawtoothtactical4042 ай бұрын
Thanks! I've got a 14.5" pin & weld with the open tine three-prong ASR flash hider and it brings the total length to 16", but I've got other ASR three prongs that are shorter. I think it just depends which one you use.
@5point5six602 ай бұрын
@@sawtoothtactical404 on my BCM mk2 it’s “too short” before actually installing and doing measurements only. I should try to install one and measure to make sure. That said, it’s ridiculous that we have to play these stupid games.

@shawnbrockman97292 ай бұрын
@GldenRetriever Well, to compare the two, you would need the Velos 556k lbp. The one in this video is for the 762. So no, there is no comparison. The Velos 556k will out perform the P-K any day. They are two different cans. But even with the lbp of Velos, it outperforms the P-K in sound suppression. As a matter of fact, the only thing the P-K has over the Velos is weight. Besides that, the Velos is king.

I use the ASR mounting system on all my rifles and really prefer that system. Some of my muzzle devices are SiCo brand, and some are ASR muzzle breaks made by KVP that are less expensive but work with the interface just as well. I've currently got a Velos LBP 762 in jail and am just eagerly awaiting the approval. I did it on a trust since all my other cans are in a trust, we’ll see how long that takes these days doing I that way. Really looking forward to using it on my 300 Blackout, .308, and on my 5.56 rifles.

This seems it can really help your over gassed MK18, maybe even drop a level or two of buffer weight to make it jump even less. 😂 I'll say it again, cans like OCL are NOT a good choice on a gas sensitive rifle like MK18 w/o any type of AGB. You sacrifice way too much 'shootabiltiy' because of gas blow back and significantly increased of recoil/jump. And for sure more parts wear with that early of bolt unlock and that much carrier velocity.
@sawtoothtactical4042 ай бұрын
You can say it as many times as you'd like, but people have been using higher back pressure cans on MK18s for a very long time. Low back pressure cans are a relatively new thing, and while they are great technology and I'm very impressed with the Velos, my MK18 shoots nice and soft and feels great with the Polonium K. I'm going to run the Velos on it next weekend, but I'd rather keep something shorter on it in the long run.
@JohnZ5562 ай бұрын
@@sawtoothtactical404 People have been doing it for a long time doesn't mean doing it at 2024 is remotely optimal. Your video doesn't support your belief in 'my MK18 shoots nice and soft with polo k' but you can also say it as many times as you want. I get it if you want your MK18 to run on a short and inexpensive can, but somehow I sensed you might have more feelings attached to that choice than you will ever admit.
