I think that it's done on purpose, keep in mind the game is set in 2042, i wouldn't be surprised if there were silencers this effective in the future. The rifle itself could also be changed to make it quieter. As weird as it is i think it's not far from reality in the future

@@9321spiderman How come? What is it that the chat currently has (only your teams messages seen) compares to a global chat? Now I get it, there's only one answer really, which is; I don't have to see the enemies messages/flaming etc. But honestly you're missing out on so many conversations and social interactions with other people when you can't chat with literally half the game lobby (which could be 64 players). That is pretty insane tbh. And can always mute anyone you don't wanna see chat, and even just put your "chat mode" in "team only" which has been doable in the other battlefield games and most likely would be doable in 2042 if global chat was a thing.

I'd prefer they put in the death comms or whatever they call it in Warzone/MW2019, with crossplay being used in this game a lot of players can end up being on the console platforms and I don't think they bother typing out text in most FPS multiplayer games using their controllers.

did some checking myself (hold tight) DXR with the standard issue ammo on any suppressor it does the "pfhhh" other ammo it has the crack with different sounding depending on the type. SWS it's Suppressor dependent, 6KU cracks, 6KU Heavy does the "pfhhh" Dunno if you've noticed this Rav 👍

I was wondering how close the enemy would have to be to hear the shots and at 9:40 it seems to be closer than a meter or the person wasn't paying attention

They weren't paying attention. Gun audio _is_ broken from third person, all gun sounds are nearly nonexistent if you aren't the shooter. However, the only suppressors the DXR-1 has access to still mark you an the minimap to anyone within 20 meters. That's one advantage of using the SWS, you can put on a heavy suppressor to completely eliminate that muzzle report and stop yourself from appearing on the map unless someone actually marks you with a spotting tool. Drops max damage so it won't OSK at any range without a headshot, but the range for that is already piss-poor without the suppressor (just 9m) and you can still OHK at any range with a headshot.

Just a UI bug. He got the kill, it just didn't show. Sometimes when you get multi-kills it doesn't show them pop up, but then will randomly all pop up the next time you get a kill or just randomly some time after lol.

i know i'm late but ravic has a loooong life of shooter experience, so most likely that paired with at one point a forced focus on getting headshots. sensitivity is something personal, though you can train with it, but asking what somebody else uses is kinda pointless, focus down on what you use and see if anything bothers you. if so, try changing it a bit and then sticking to that for about a week or two. more importantly, know your strenghts and weaknesses, and make the best of any situation

Not a lot since I've been messing around with other weapons since the traumatic 8x nerf, it does appear as though they fixed a few of the bugs related to the burst on that pistol so it should be pretty good now. Although "pretty good" is still quite low with regards to pistols in this game, don't know why they have such poor damage at close ranges but they are just awful. Looking forward to them adding the M1912 pistol.
