Yup, he had a once in the world opportunity to ride the wave between silence and one-liners. "Let's do words this time." ... silence. "So I went on a blind date with this girl." ... silence. The audience began laughing during his second set as well, and then he basically interrupted them with more words. But now, he has broken his own silence, and anyone trying to do the same is just an imposter. His first set is still genius, though. Respect.

Comedy is all about defying expectations. You get people to assume something, and then flip it on them. But comedians all get there the same way, fundamentally. A setup, followed by a punchline. This guy defied the audience’s expectations from the very beginning and never let up. The assumption that he’s defying is that a standup comic is going to talk 😂

Aw, man! When he was asked how he was. If he just opened his mouth like he was going to say something and just lifted his hand up signifying he was OK or a thumbs-up would have been GOLD!

This guy reminds me of Anthony Jeselnik in the way he crafts his jokes. Its just insane how everything just made sense and was HILARIOUS. So smart.

I wonder how every comic that's bombed on kill Tony feels about this. The fact that they said a whole bunch of words and no one likes them and this guy just stands there and has the crowd roaring. 😂😂😂
