Hey Mario! Thank you. You will love it. There are some things I would have done differently. I will have a guide out for this hike in December.

Hi! It was a nice spontaneous addition to the experience. I had planned to sleep in my tent, but the storm came in with rain that day/night and snow the next night. I wish I would have had the mountains in focus for that clip in the jacuzzi, but oh well. It was very relaxing, and I enjoyed the sauna immensely. The breakfast was also fantastic at that hotel/restaurant. Highly recommend that place. Thanks for watching.

@@CaryMercerhi. i definitely know what you mean. There's nothing better when the weather is changing and you find an emergency hut, last minute available accomodation or just warm place to dry a bit. It's nice to have a bit of unplanned comfort when the weather it's terrible and not to force yourself to sleep in tent in whatever conditions when you have possibility. The video footage of mountains it's great and extensive, barely something is missing in the spa moment :) Take care and i wish you a lot of adventurous hikes!

Beautiful video cary.The scene with the rain falling as you entered the tunnel, really atmospheric.Im planning on hiking/camping the haute route in july but am also considering the gr20.Which did you prefer?
@CaryMercer Жыл бұрын
Thank you, Ian. That means a lot to me. If going in July, I think the WHR would be better. I know it can get really hot on Corsica in July. I liked both. Can't really go wrong with either route.

Great video, saw your comment on AllTrails so came here to subscribe! Did you use a GPX file to mavigate/plan?

Hi, thank you! I’m sorry I don’t have a GPX file. I used the offline AllTrails map. I appreciate you watching and subscribing.

Hi. That is very nice of you to say. I have been making these videos for about two years now. I would consider myself an amateur, but I'm making an effort to improve with each video. Cheers!
