thank you for sharing this beautiful video! I'll be hiking there on Oct 8-10 and now I'm so excited! May I ask if light crampons and helmet are required if I want to go up Mt Hotaka?

Thank you for watching! 🙏🙂 If it snows by the time you reach Karasawa, it’s better not to attempt the hike to Mt. Hotaka. However, if the weather is clear, it's safe to hike up. It's advisable to wear a helmet for safety, as the climb is quite rocky, but crampons aren't necessarily required.
