Yes SH3 is my favorite. Where are the nerds who update the graphics for fun? Probably still working on Daggerfall. EDIT: It seems like you could just take a lot of the graphics files, skins, and animations from SH5 and replace the SH3 files with them. If necessary rename them so they have the correct names.

Yes and as soon the captain got notified of the distress call , he surfaced the sub, gave their position and let survivors on the deck. More subs joined to save them and they hung out big red cross flags on the conning tower while going head on against the order of the kriegsmarine They saved dozens of survivors with lifeboats also being towed but americans gave no shit despite they asked or assistance, and even a british officer radioed nearby us aircraft. They bombed them twice but only managed to destroy some lifeboats killing dozens of civilians

Yes 1700 Italian POWs. Germans didn't know though. It just dropped off a bunch of British soldiers in Africa. It picked up the POWs for the return trip to get more British soldiers. Also this is not the Laconia. Laconia had one funnel and no cranes. This is a generic "Large Liner".

Having a little trouble understanding why the liner is DIW and the shot setup is so convoluted. Also PLEASE resist the urge to pan on everything. I got seasick watching the camera skitter all over the place. Also a DIW transport usually brings out the deck gun lover in me. Why waste a torpedo?

I'm wondering why the liner was stopped dead in the middle of the ocean, yet the funnels were belching smoke? That doesn't happen in SH4. The more I see of SH5, the more it seems to be absurdly unrealistic. And it's being delivered to me today. Oh well. Seems like it has superb graphics and not much else. I hope I'm wrong.

Christian Seierup The boilers wouldn't issue forth that much smoke at low pressure. But my point was that an undamaged liner wouldn't be stopped in mid-ocean during wartime at all. It's not realistic.

Yes you're right. I'm not doubted that. But this game hasn't ship model for historical accurate Laconia. So I had no choice to select similar ship and recording this video back then. Also I was pretty lack to make missions with SH5 mission editor, as you can see ship is almost not moving. lol Man I was so dumb to make this video back then. But anyway. When I see this now, it looks quite amusing. Thanks for the info, by the way.

Silent hunter 5 is wank, its full of bugs. piece of utter shit balls. I installed Silent Hunter 4 last night with patch 1.4 and that game runs so much better even though it came out in 2007. The only bug i find in Silent Hunter 4 is a sound bug and its nothing compared to the bugs in this piece of shit, although the graphics are good that's about it without mods. I found in Silent Hunter 5 that planes do not attack you, they just fly over head and don't get me started on the interface bugs. The escort ships depth charges don't go very deep so its easy to escape them also escorts will detect you from miles away and follow you without attacking the only way to get rid of the bug is to save and reload then the escort ship is gone. Ubisoft released this game way too early and then couldn't be bothered to fix it, money grabbing cunt scabs.
