106 years ago.... 4 months into World War 1 & its becoming all too apparent that this conflict WON'T be ending for Christmas! Christmas Eve 1914; British trenches are befuddled upon hearing over the German Trenches "Silent Night" being sung, a sing off follows. Christmas Day & both sides decide for a while to pack the war in for at least a few hours! Exchanging gifts, burying their fallen & even a soccer/football match If only this version was playing & they'd all pack the war in completely!! P.S Upon 1st hearing this 1st time.. I was weeping from its sheer genuine gentle beauty
