Another excellent interviewee, thank you. Just one thing I would thing on which I would pick him up - re his comments on Israel... I regard Netanyahu as being as wicked as Putin - for reasons including that to find out the true history of this current conflict, and the atrocities of both sides over MANY DECADES, you have to go back to square one - 1910 I THINK it was, the very first visit by a delegation of senior Jewish leaders who met with two British government ministers in London. And I would urge you to follow this through to the present day including the dispossession of Palestinians of their lands, the constant wars, the atrocities of Irgun and other Jewish terror groups, The Palatinate of Palestine under British "rule"...the occupation of the West Bank by Zionists, the redirection of the water supplies from Palestinian orchards and farms... I think that is enough to start with..The divvying up of Palestine land (which is marked on my Atlas as such of 1940s)..without consultation of the people who lived there for generations...was clearly a recipe for the disaster we see today about which the Brits (my country) had not one iota of a clue..Jane Soole 80 years, Dorset.
@tikaanipippin4 ай бұрын
Not so Jane, many Brits know that Winston Churchill and his friend "Bomber" Harris tried to exterminate the Kurds by Poison gas bombs in the follow-up destruction of the Ottoman Empire after WWI, that we instigated Concentration Camps in South Africa, long before Hitler thought of the idea, and that we carved up the Middle East in order to control the oil riches of the region, putting friendly autocrats in power, and then destroying them, (as examples to the others), like Saddam Hussein, and Ghadaffy in Libya. And we placed a Jewish homeland in the middle of the region, (planned, as you say, for over 30 years) and allowed their form of genocide against the Palestinian people, and helped them to become a nuclear power. Energy is power, and ever since we were forced to face the fact that slavery and the use of dumb animals for power was immoral, but more so, unsustainable, in the 19th century, the energy found in fossil fuel had overtaken their use in the continuation of Empire. The British have much blood on their hands and still meddle in the region for the same reason. Hell, under Tony Blair, he was on one hand, Bush's poodle, helping with destroying Iraq, and on the other hand, opened up London's financial sector to Putin and his Oligarchs. Sick world, takes a lot to undo all the harm done. Despite all the demonizing of fossil fuels viz. the "climate catastrophe", oil and gas and Uranium are all targets for control of the future wealth. Yet, the UK and EU fail to prepare for war. Perhaps we need to take a leaf from Putin's notebook, and allow all immigrants, when processed to remain in the UK, that they not only take citizenship exams, but also to train for military service, in case we need trained reserves in case of war.

A new democratic development as result of Russia- Ukraine war Through various programs, a new management class of the Russian Federation is being formed from the participants of the special military operation. Through the Time of Heroes program alone, 40 thousand military personnel have already entered the echelons of power, and 530 thousand SVO participants have been registered. They and their family members are provided with various benefits, free training in management, education, etc. About 90 thousand participants of the special military operation have already become part of government structures at the federal level.
