I love her hair both before and after! But I don’t like how in the thumbnail she has that shocked look on her face in the “before” photo!! It makes it seem like her fro looks crazy and her straight hair looks acceptable 🙅🏾‍♀️ Afros are gorgeous and should be celebrated! Not put down in favor of straighter hair.

Children should never have relaxers in their hair at all. My mom did the same thing to my sister's hair as a kid and my sister ended up getting bald spots on her head.

That's what I learned when I flat ironed my hair the first time I am so used to putting hair products in my hair and straightening afterwards it really burned my scalp 😱 With completely washing the hair products out and blow drying my hair helped my hair to be silky like I got it done at the salon! 😁

Majority of hair gurus got us thinking we need unicorn tears in our hair, but I've learned with some stylists and tricologists that our hair only need shampoo, conditioner and 2 stylers maximum, oil is not even necessary, you could use it but really small amounts, and oil made for hair, not the ones that you use in the kitchen

Your hair looks so good! I'll need to try blow drying in even smaller sections next time. My hand hurts when I do the tension method so then I get lasy and impatient lol. I put spray leave in conditioner in my damp hair with a heat protectant 2 days ago when I straightened my hair and it honestly looks like a good blow dry rn 😪 My main problem is my coils ends ugh. I'll need to try your way and products you use next time!

WOW, do you trim your own ends?! They look great. Also, how do you get rid of ALL your fairy knots?! Sometimes right after I trim my ends...I still find fairy knots in my hair strands.

I don’t think there’s a way to completely get rid of fairy knots. That’s just what tightly coiled hair does.. you can minimize them with protective styling at night but if you’re constantly wearing high puffs or letting your fro out then expect to have them. I tried searching for ways to get rid of them it’s just impossible. I don’t stress over it anymore.
