Moisturize with the correct products and use the right heat setting, it will move.

I would say use the design essentials silk press line and make sure you get a good blow dry (the tension method to get your hair 75 percent dry and then use a paddle brush to get the roots and finish blow drying). That sets you up to only have to do one pass with your flat iron. Another good tip is to put conditioner and other heavy moisturizing products on the length of your hair NOT the roots. That helps prevent greasy roots. No oil until after you blow dry and straighten. These steps work for me. Good luck! ❤
