Bruno's and Andy's outfits were definitely a nod to the white jumpsuits that Elvis wore at his Las Vegas shows. (They were smart to go with the convenience of two pieces instead of a jumpsuit.) Silk Sonic's album did miss the eligibility period of September 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021 so 2023 here we come. That also means that all the songs (except Leave The Door Open and Skate) on the album are eligible next year. Theoretically another song or songs** (e.g. Smokin Out The Window, Put On a Smile, or maybe After Last Night) could also be nominated in the same 4 categories that "Leave The Door Open" just won. ** In 2018 Bruno won Song of the Year for "That's What I Like" and Record of the Year for "24K Magic" both off his 24K Magic album. Silk Sonic should definitely submit more than one song for Grammy consideration.

Ha! You said ‘Chris Rock….in ery’body head. Too cute! The outfits is all ‘70’s. Back then? You mentioned Ike Turner for the wig, but he was one of the 1st rockin threads like this. Really, Elvis was coppin the style that was already prevalent in ‘70’s & ‘80’s: Sly, J-5, Tom Jones, Commodores, EWF, many more, but of course Elvis did it his way, his own spin wit exaggerated collar🤣.
