Aww thanks for another fun update. Oh man, the other rooster is lovely. I love his colors, size and stance. Handsome. BUTTTTTT, I've dealt with birds for a long time and find that it's better to go for personality than for looks. And usually the pretty ones are the meanies. If you ever find pretty and nice super rare score. It's that way with budgies and parrots. Probably best to keep the Australorpe then. I ordered chicks also earlier in the year for a July delivery. Went to add two more breeds and now everything is gone. I'm so worried I won't get my chicks. I'm looking into hatching eggs now too. But wow what will I do with the extras and roosters?

So even those cute little birds can be meanies, too? Lol I’m hearing that about chicks selling out.

@@ChickenHues Oh my goodness budgies are nasty little things. As bad as humans with intent to kill often times. The females are the worst with them. But yeah who'd have though such cute budgies could be so nasty to each other at times. The chick thing has me worried. Our tractor supply sold out in two days. I didn't even know they'd gotten chicks. My husband went and said they only had empty displays. On the site My Pet Chicken I can't even find roosters I'd like. A few months ago they couldn't get rid of them. They had a special for cockrels for a dollar. Not anymore. I never wanted a rooster, but if I had to have one I would have liked to have picked the breed. Mine is a mutt called Blue Favuacana. I was supposed to get two females. Ideally I wanted either a black copper marans (for olive eggers and docile roo) or a salmon faverolle. So yeah the sell out is disturbing.

@@ScaryFear Wow! Do you have a Rural King near you? Ours is always stocked with chicks. Although, I know that varies with the area, too. I hope you can find some that you like. That’s good to know about Budgies. They’re always so cute. They aren’t an option with my cats, but I always pictures then as sweet little things riding around on my shoulder. 😂

@@ChickenHues Yes I have a very close Rural King. They had no chicks. I found some eggs on ebay so this will be my first mail order for black copper marans. Now I'm at the dilema to incubate in my small incubator or use my broody hen. Btw, check out my playlist called Minion The Talking Budgie. You'll be Amazed. 230 words.

yeah those little banty roosters are very noisy and try to be bullies but sometimes that don't work out too good for then. my wife said she's gonna put some eggs in the incubator,, it won't hurt my feeling if none of them hatch,, we have way too many for the space now.

Haha! I get it and I’m sure Steve feels the same way. They’re so fun to hatch and see as chicks. But then they grow up…. 😂

Well whatever you do please keep the Grey white rooster! He is very pretty 😍

He is very handsome! Practically, it’s the Australorp I should keep, but I also really like the other. 😊

What does the Black Fly cost per bag?

Quite a bit. The one I have (5 lbs.) is around $40. They last for a while.
