Hi Silky Saws Australia, Thank you for your video with all the details. You convinced me to use a straight blade instead of a curve blade. As I already own a Silky Ultra Accel curve saw (the red one), I'm wondering if I can put a straight blade on it? In other words, is it only the color of the handle that change or is the handle a little different to better fit each kind of blade while cutting? Cheers

Hi, thanks for your comment. And yes you can put any of the Ultra Accel blades into the handle. The framework is the same, just the colour of the handle is different. 😀 Nita.

The sticky sharpness is so apparent when you accidentally touch the teeth to your arm and get the row of tiny punctures. Do you folks sell "cut sleeves", to protect from this?

Curved saws for arborist have more contact with the wood because logs are well... round. An arborist would want a straight blade because it can fit into tighter spots and is for exact cuts ike felling large limbs in the canapoy with notches and back cuts there is some truth to what u girls are saying about how the angle of your arms and what not so i did learn a thing or two but I bet dollar to donuts my curved silky's cut faster than my straight I got two straight models and 7 curved I got a problem I know, still kicks ass that two pretty girls talking about silky saws!!! Ive watched a lot of your vidoes and usually your spot on but I had to disagree with this one slightly dont take it the wrong way. Keep the vidoes coming

I have mixed feelings about your comment though, I am getting love-hate relationship type of vibe over here lol! 😆 We love reading other peoples opinions on what they think of the saws. But I am going to let the the jury be the judge for this one, he he!. WE LOVE YOUR SILKY PROBLEM, there is nothing wrong with owning to many saws. Everyone needs to have your kind of obsession, so as there is over 100 Silky's there is couple more you might need to add 😉 😃 Shenae
