I agree we are in for tough times ahead but when possible I will continue to stack! In my opinion stacking is the best thing I can purchase out side of my bills food and necessities. Crypto is an option and I have a little of it but I personally feel more comfortable with what I know is a sound investment gold silver platinum! Precious metals! There are a lot of people who get discouraged which is understandable in the current condition of the economy and inflation, I would say hang in there and if it’s only possible for a person to add just 1 gram of silver then only add that when you can. We are all in different situations and fall under different circumstances so keep your head up and stack what you can when you can!!!

You might be surprised to know the fair value for gold right now is around 17x current spot price, when market manipulation via derivatives is not possible anymore due to credit freeze and then stock market collapse, we WILL see a huge rise in precious metals prices. I bought some silver for the first time in many years. I would never make such a purchase as a short term investment. It's a hedge (insurance) for possible future events which would require something to barter with because the dollar was becoming so undesirable and people started preferring something else. The other reason is to have something that I would expect (even in spite of the dips and peaks along the way), to keep up with inflation in the long run.

After I got a 100 face of half I stopped chasing them but Benji rock. My truck is standing by and waiting for 23 spot silver to back up. I say most the reason premiums are down is cause dealers want to sell as much as they can today. As they have the sentiment the prices will continue down awhile.

I remember playing dollar slots at Club Cal Neva in Reno back in those days. If one won, one would be paid in silver dollars. The machines had $1, $2, and $5 payouts in silver dollars. Wins were not frequent but they did happen. I never won a $5 prize but did get a few $2 prizes, and several $1 prizes.

Been there, seen that, and there are a LOT of people on the west coast who are FROM N. Dak. There are good reasons for that, chiefly the weather. My mother was born in Minot in 1928. shop in Harrisburg Pa today ... they were paying spot for silver eagles ... .50 back for other gov bullion ... 1.00 back for generic bars and rounds .. 1.50 back for anything over 10 ozt bars ........ gold was 98% of spot for eagles and buffalos and 95% for other gov coins 92% for bars and generic under 5 ozt ... 90% for anything bigger than 5 ozt

Not financial advice, just an opinion. I agree, I played with stocks during covid, barely made a profit, wasn't making much money so I couldn't put much into it at the time. Been in silver for 15 years. Bought more last year since the economy hasn't been doing too good. I was also ignorant of crypto til last year, educated myself. Now I'm in metals and crypto. I'm treating some cryptos like stocks where I'll dump them during the bull run, some have 5x or more what I put in already and we're not in a bullrun. Went heavy on ISO 20022 tokens as a long term hold. The utility of those tokens will be adopted or replace SWIFT eventually. It is the future of digital finances IMO. IMO to be a good investor one should be invested in many markets, not just one. Crypto can give you returns way bigger and faster than you'd get out of stocks. The argument that crypto is fiat, the dollars we use to buy things are too. If that's a concern take crypto profits, convert to fiat then metal or into other markets like real estate. Win win.

2 out of 3 shops I went to in the last week were reluctant to buy silver and said they were paying less than usual. The important thing is that as long as the refiners are buying silver, refining, and supplying bars to comex, the dealers buy prices shouldn't fall too much. If the dealer makes 2% and the refiner makes 2%, even with shipping expense the dealer would be able to keep paying 95%

Crypto is another avenue for investing. I personally invest in stocks, crypto, warrants, and options in addition to precious metals. If you’re educated you can make a lot of money in any of these options and the opposite is true as well if you don’t know what you are doing you will lose. I don’t personally care what anyone else invests in but I use a good amount of profits from crypto to buy more metals. I view precious metals as more of a long term savings than for profit. But I do honestly believe if you are looking to get rich off precious metals without a large amount of capital then getting a business loan to start a shop would probably be the fastest way with little risk to your own money as your startup capital would be credit to your LLC where bankruptcy laws would protect you personally. If you want to get rich fast stock options are the best bet along with crypto. Good luck everyone and remember when you invest it’s not what you do or don’t know that will wipe you out….it’s what you think you know that will. Some older dealers have said that with the highs in 1980 and 2011, the refiners couldn't keep up with all the silver to be melted and stopped paying on time. That caused the wholesalers to drastically reduce their buy price and it trickled down to shops.

Anyone who times the market will succeed, but only after enough attempts have been made that did not succeed. This is why buying regularly in small amounts is so potent at building a nice stack over time. Notice that anyone who succeeds at market timing usually does so once in their investing lifetime. They can become famous for a while.

Went to my shop today and they have a limit of 20 silver eagles per customer while supplies last. They are paying $1.50 back of spot for gov. Minted. $2 back on generic.. Utah

$7.20 AUD premium on a silver kangaroo here in Australia, spot- $47.32 AUD, coin- $54.50 AUD. FFR to 10yr yield is looking sketchy too.

Prices rising to a point where it makes sense to mine more silver. When there is enough raw mined silver, and coins and bullion silver owners sell all at once, the spot price will drop rapidly.

This is a perfect example. If people stop buying when prices are too high they come down. Now imagine what would happen to autos if people would stop buying them for 65 to 100k.

Silver was tanking even before the Nasdaq correction and now its even worse - 6$ down. Ive been stacking silver assets since 2018 and we have to be very patient- it is still best risk reward asset in the market but unfortunately we could go down to 25$ . Patience is required

There are many people in the private sector that will buy. There needs to be more talk on the true reality of moving silver in a bad economic situation. I hear no talk about people who need to sell silver on how to sell it and not take a beating on the price. You pay a premium upfront on the silver then on top of that your taking another lose when you go to sell it to a dealer. You can sell silver very easily on FB marketplace for spot.

A lot of people including myself have lost interest in stacking because of the roller coaster ride and the prices and all the hype on KZbin and other unnamed people that Livestream from a basement pushing silver, you'd think there was a buck in it for them ? None on Silver seeker as he tells it how it is.
