I am so fortunate to have Harry as my LCS. From the first day I stepped into his shop (2019) he has treated me with respect and called me by my name as I showed him a metal medallion that the prior three coin shops I visited showed no interest in even looking at. I was shocked when on my second time in he said “hello again Tim”! Since then, as the executor of my mom’s estate, Harry has made selling many items of silver and gold so easy and he has been so respectful. And to this day, as an Uber driver I bring any cash tips to Harry’s and purchase silver bullion. Even when it’s just a single junk silver quarter, Harry treats me as though I am a high roller! When I walk in the door he knows I have been Ubering and have been tipped out. I kind of miss the days when it was just Harry and one other guy but I am happy for his growth and even though this growth has brought many new faces to the store, I still receive the same friendly greeting; the same “hi Tim, how are you today” that I got on that very first time I entered the shop. Well done Harry.

That's good to know. Maybe one day, I'll make it up to his shop. I see so many cool coin shops on videos, yet my local shop has rather bad prices and service as if I'm a bother. Wish I had a cool coin shop near me. I'd rather buy offline so there is no record of my purchases. Harry and his crew do seem to be honest and respectful of their customers. Makes me want to plan a trip more than ever.

Harry really seems like a great person and dealer. They all do. It would be a pleasure to have him as my LCS, alas I'm on the other side of the Atlantic ocean. I love how positive, friendly and trustworthy they all are. I used to follow another channel with a similar format (Yankee Stacking not to name it), but the dealer there couldn't be more different, injecting awful political takes and rants into the videos, alienating viewers and being all around unlikable, angry and mean. Harry seems like the LCS owner we all wished we had in our necks of the woods. I don't know anything about Harry and the guys' political views and I couldn't care less about them, you can tell that they're smart, reasonable and decent people and that's what's important to me.

They all are so friendly, likable and clearly trustworthy. In my experience, that's far from the norm with local coin shops. I've seen the owner of my local coin shop treat customers insanely badly multiple times even though all they were guilty of was not being very knowledgeable or not ready to spend thousands. I stopped going when he tried to lowball me and showed me the door when I declined to sell the ancient coins I had on me for a third of what they were worth even though I was even ready to leave them at his shop and only get paid after he sold them. It was impossible to form a good relationship with him regardless of the fact that I was always very respectful (even deferential because I admired his knowledge and inventory) and would spend quite a bit of money at his shop. He has a 3.3/5 on Google reviews while Harry has a well-deserved 4.8/5. I'm really envious of the people who have Harry and the guys as their local coin shop!

My LCS in Hollywood, Fl employ’s 3 full timers but in very expensive retail space. I know the owner and he said without eBay whatnot or whatever he’d be underwater with the store alone. Surviving is not even the word he’s thriving although he does confirm it’s been mostly buying since last year.

Your coin shop is the best you are set to help the customer not for a quick sale. I wish all coin shops would set up their shops and run them like you do. The coin shop in my town is not friendly as your shop seems to be. They act like if you’re a small shopper they don’t have time to help you. Only the BIG spenders.

I wish my local coin shop had a variety like this. My guy won't keep anything stocked because he's worried about taking losses when prices dip. The last time i went, he only had 4 gold coins. At least he almost always has junk so I buy up all his dimes, leaving him with even less inventory 😂

Haha, YES! Farthings always remind me of that scene in Robin Hood - I mentioned it to someone the other day and it was lost on them. I metal detect in New England, and while I've dug easily a couple hundred halfpennies, I've only found 2 farthings (both 1749 KGII Mermaid coins - interesting history there if you're unfamiliar with 1749 coinage). They're tough to find in the ground!

Harry is so much nicer, more reasonable and more pleasant than Tim is. I wouldn't step foot in Tim's shop. I don't want to have to listen to unhinged OAN / Newsmax pundit rants when I shop for coins. At Harry's coin shop, I'd know that I'd be greeted with niceness and professionalism regardless of who I deal with and regardless of our respective political views which shouldn't matter in such a setting. That's invaluable.
