The Ever Famous Silver Stars Steel Orchestra playing " Elizabethan Serenade ". This was the 60s' Era when Classical Music in Calypso Tempo was very Popular with the Steel Bands.

To listen the pan of yesteryear is just undescribabley wonderful. It put us in such a mood, it could bring tears of joy & sadness. We grew up in a time to listen & play it in a proud way, you had to.bring that ❤arrangement, that was the way practice was, very important. then the captain pass by every pan to hear if you had the right notes, God bless us with a talent, that no one could take away from us, sweet pan Sweet T'N'T

Here I am in London during the Covid Lock down 2020, and listening to all the songs that reminds me of my childhood. I remember this tune playing and it brings back such lovely memories of my family with my parents and siblings. Wish I can relive those days. But for now I will listen and reminisce silently. Thanks to the composers of this steel pan tune, we don't hear them like this anymore. Thanks Silver Stars

We definitely can't go back in time but we can still recall through recorded music the sweet times of innocence whenever we hear sweet tunes like this. I'm listening to this tune in 2018 but my mind and spirit are somewhere in the early to mid sixties when our home was in truth and fact paradise. Sweet T&T forever.

So sad to hear that Junior died.after reading Mr.dmunchman responce..But I do hear his arrangement in his brother's music after listening to "I will Survive'' all that tension and build up for the climax,I will say that Junior still lives on in his brother''s music.I say thank god for this wonderfull person,a pioneer in steelband arrangement someone who dared to take Pan arrangement to a higer level..God Bless the Pouchet family for giving us so many years great music...Silver Stars Forever...

May God rest Junior;s great musical soul. I remember chippimg as a yougster to his arrangement of "69 doh be late" and around that time to his rendition of "Bridfe over troubled waters" that still rings in my head to this day. Hey Edwin how about a remake of Junior's "Bridge" for 2014 bomb tune or one of them. hat will be a great tribute to your bro.

The tuner of those background pas for SilverStars was none other than Stanley Warner of Sanjuan however he tried to sabotage the band mainly because of the part of the country they were from plus racial animus but sorry to say that was the stereotypical mindset of that era

i use to live with Stanley Warner in Nassau Bahamas in the early 70, i moved to NY and left him in the Bahamas but i heard he moved to Miami and he is no longer in this world

Stanley never trisd to sabotage,silver stars ,he loved junior, i used to work with stanley &take pans down to.silver stars when they practiced in " cobeau town"
