Kind of makes Unicron vs Galactus a bit more impressive when you consider just using the power of cosmic argument wasn't enough, because Unicron's powers can essentially do anything the power of cosmic can. In order for Galactus to win Death Battle had to use the ultimate nullifier, and the argument that the Marvel cosmology scales higher than the Transformers cosmology. Essentially comparing the sizes of the multiverses and everything beyond.

Though I feel Unicron shouldve beat Galactus in their final forms (As Unicrons full power is more related to the living tribunal at full power or unbound spectre). Silver surfer became a canon singularity for the Marvel multiverse in one comic run. Where he witnessed galactus's past and the destruction of many universes before his even existed and went beyond all of that in power, to the point he could use Mjolnir as a weapon and armor. His final threat was an old thanos who conquered the universe with a pet hulk and he still dies.

From my understanding, Galvatron in this cast was a soft composite, where as Megatron on DB was primarily IDW focused. Along with that, Galvatron is deliberately enhanced by Unicron, so downscaling is questionable
