Shabani est le dos argenté de cette troupe ses femmes sont Néné et ai .Néné est la femelle de shabani et la mère de ai et kiyomasa ( père shabani pour kiyomasa)) . Ai est la 2 ème femelle de shabani et la mère de Annie ( père shabani) voilà 😁

As someone who has studied behaviour for years, I have to finally say something. This troop is under stress. Theyre NOT playing pranks, feeling sad, or showing off. It's *stress* . In the wild gorillas Kiyo's age would be able to decide whether to be submissive to the silverback or leave the troop to start his own. Here, Shabani and Kiyomasa can't get any real distance between themselves. Nene isnt playing with Shabani. - she's feeling the pressure to protect her son. You can see the stress as they all have exposed skin injuries that they pick at as a nervous habit. As I am only seeing what this and other channels show me, i know I don't have the whole picture; however, I have seen enough to know that Kiyo needs to be able to start a troop at a other zoo. That will also stop some of the inbreeding that's already occured here. Fights in the wild rarely end up with serious injury or death as one or both can flee from the other. Here it'll be inevitable if zoo management doesn't step in. Shabani is just going to feel more threatened as Kiyo's drumming sounds get deeper. This is a lit powderkeg and when it goes, not only will the males do a LOT of damage to each other, there's a good chance females will be injured, especially Nene as she cannot move fast enough to keep out of the way. We on KZbin can anthropomorphise their behaviour all we want, but the zoo needs to take action soon. I fear for this troop.

Yeap. Adult male gorillas do not coexist peacefully. Kiyo wants to mate but only the alpha males get mating privileges The son-father bond doesn't really exist once the silverbacks reach adulthood Obviously the zoo can't just pull him out of the enclosure overnight but there needs to be a plan in place to slowly move him out so he can have his own space with his own troop Once Kiyo is out and Shabani is the only male much of the tension will go away

@@eddiemaiden2664Silverbacks CAN and do live together in the wild and in captivity, but this enclosure is much too small for that possibility. This troop has nothing else to do but focus on each other. There doesn’t even seem to be any enrichment opportunities for them.

How mich does kiyo weigh now

I'm not sure, as Kiyomasa doesn't get on the scale much, but I think he's around 308-330lb.

I know you take great care of these amazing animals. It does break my heart seeing them locked up like they in jail. It is heartbreaking. Although i know they probably know nothing else. At least im guessing they were born there.
