I gotta say these gorillas are very charismatic. They use sign language to communicate with each other and there's clearly a high level of intelligence here with very distinct personalities Unfortunately the females here seem to despise the silverback. They rarely go near him or show affection towards him which probably means he won't have any more babies Once Annie and her brother are moved big daddy won't have anything to do since the other 2 tend to avoid him. Probably something for the zoo to keep in mind

What goes around comes around and Nene deserves everything she gets. But thanks for pointing out the difference between Annie and Nene, Annie only pokes Nene, never tries to really hurt her, Nene has in the past hurt Annie (when Annie was a small child Nene always used to attack Annie but yeah let's just forget about that hey it's just oh poor Nene) and she still always tries to hurt Annie if she gets a chance.

@@Simon-gc6uf That's what happens when humans take babies away and then try to reintroduce them,not all members of the troop like that,it's throwing a stranger in the lions den and expecting them all to live in harmony,Ai had no interest in her either,that is the humans that always interfere.I hope Nene gets her revenge for all she has had to take in life.That's just how it is in Zoos,as long as humans run the show there will always be problems.

Stavo guardando giocare Shabani e Kiyomasa,sorridevo per il modo divertente in cui lo facevano. Quando li ho visti correre mi son detta " Quanto sono belli" Tutto un tratto vedo Annie dare un colpetto a Nene come se volesse giocare,ma Nene si è arrabbiata ha cercato di mordere Annie ( in questo caso meno male che non ha i denti) ma Annie li ha, e ha morso Nene ( per difesa) credo che la paura le ha fatto fare la pipì. Spero che Nene❤ stia bene, anche Annie❤. Shabani❤ sei un papà giusto, mi dispiace,ti stavi divertendo con Kiyomasa ❤. Amori belli!❤🍀❤️

Shabani is a much more charismatic father than Momotaro, Shabani and Kyomasa always provide us with scenes like this, but we don't see the same happening with Momotaro and Gentaro. This says a lot about the different personalities of gorillas.

I think Momotaro didn't have a father figure growing up, so he doesn't know what to do when his kids invite him to play. He often sees it as a challenge and gets a bit physical with Kintaro, but he did used to play with Gentaro a lot.

Wow, what an exciting video, first Shabani & Kiyomasa playing then taking off in a run. Annie & Grandma Nene getting into a fight was scary 😮 Big papa Shabani came & of course went after Nene. She can really move fast for an elder. Love our Nene ❤

I think I deleted my comment by mistake. I have been watching videos of this family since Annie was a baby. Annie can defen herself now, but as a toddler, NeNe attacked Annie a lot, one day tried to kill Annie. Shabani got to them in lightning speed and beat NeNe's ass. NeNe had a couple wounds and she deserved them imo. Or there would be no Annie, Shabani took Annie outside to the grass and grromed her and checked her out to see if there were any wounds on her. And to comfort her, and the rest staid away. Kiyo staid close by to watch he was little too and loves Annie, and probably wanted to see if Annie was ok too. So there are a lot of dynamics in this family since the beginning. When Annie throws dirt or something, or pushes her, NeNe is getting karma, plane and simple. It is not Annie being bad for no reason, it is payback. Shabani still ran to Annie's defence but Annie held her own then left, Shabani is way more mellow all NeNe got was a jerk of the rope. He may have thought Annie handled it so he didn't ho after NeNe, luckily for her

Is Annie harassing Nene or is Annie just seeking affection/attention from Nene? Annie has always wanted Nene's attention , but Nene kept her at a distance. Now that Annie is getting bigger and stronger, I wonder what is her motivation for giving Nene a hard time. Interesting family dynamics going on.

Shabani used to poke at Nene because he wanted her to chase him. Annie & Kiyomasa are always mimicking Shabani. Grandma Nene can still throw a punch!
