Wow, I'm impressed! Daniel is usually so soft spoken & just seems to have such a gentle voice. I used to love Neon Ballroom (and him...had the biggest crush), when I was 16 & 17. I’ve been watching this several times a day recently. I’m absolutely gutted by what Daniel has become now in 2018. I cannot reconsile that this is the same person here- it is mind boggling to say the least. He’s making shitty techno style horrible music. He looks like a depleted junkie. Along with horrible tattoos including a huge prison looking one on his neck. He’s wearing freaky colored contacts ala’ Marylyn Manson circa 1996. There is zero resemblance musically to anything he did with Silverchair. That’s not a compliment. A brilliant prodigal genius has turned into a mediocre shell of the man he used to be.

Neon Ballroom was a masterpiece!!!!!! I liked all Silverchair's stuff minus the last disc. I feel Paul Mac is too blame for that though. This song is their best song in my opinion! I met Daniel during this tour in Columbus, Ohio and he is one of the nicest muscians I have ever met. Chris and Sam the keyboard player were nice also. Didn't get to me Ben though.

@dharzfreeman Peoples attention spans have been molded to be that of a squirrels (no offense to squirrels) by the mainstream take on music. I agree Frogstomp and Freakshow are all great albums, actually I like all their albums. Diorama though at first glance most people will not really like it, but if you listen to it at least 5 times all the way through with out any prejudgements...it is one of the most brilliant albums ever written and in my opinion their best album!
