I think Daniel Johns was only like 16 here. I can't think of any 16 year old musician in this day and age that has raw talent like a Silverchair. I remember watching the crap out of this (along with RHCP) on MTV when I recorded on my VHS player as well lol.

He did the song “CARS” waaaay back in 1979!!!! But he was huge in the UK...search Gary Numan “are friends electric” it’s like he eerily predicted the future. More currently he did a video with his absolutely angelic looking and sounding daughter -the song/video is called “I am ruin” No doubt ....very different genre music than silverchair- it’s new wave /techno which I’m not exactly a fan of. But he is been called the creator of techno - very cold yet emotional music and I love his stream of thought lyrics.
