I've been fighting stage IV esophageal cancer for 21 months. Things are going well. I've had more than 30 rounds of chemo and have recently started radiation. My brother in law survived stage 4 pancreatic cancer about 10 years ago. He went through chemo and he is completely cancer free today and as healthy as can be. I just went through prostate cancer treatment, and I'm going to be fine. Modern cancer treatment is fantastic. You're going to get through this!

My house was broken into yesterday. That situation led me to your channel. I do have wireless cameras installed and they did come in handy while reporting the incident to the police. I was able to identify the individual that broke in. Anyways, thank you for making this video and sharing your knowledge with us! I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

George thanks for the vid have you dealt with Ubiquiti Unifi cameras? That’s the system I am going with in my new house being built. It’s has a NVR system and also has all the smart stuff and I can add it to Apple home through HomeBridge. Main reason is I am using their network gear and a lot of people talk highly of Unifi cameras, they have many that range from 4k to 1080p. Side not keep up the fight my Dad was diagnosed a couple years ago and is doing great in which I know you will as well

hi i just found your video talking about outdoor security cameras and I have the blink mini wireless outdoor camera but it seems from different videos I watch that I should return it. I live in a rental so having wire camera system probably will not be allow. I can't even mount a Tv on the wall so I sure I can't wire drill into the wall. I look for clear video quality and record time with actual motion is being detected. Plus night vision. I thought to purchase extra motion light for that which camera is best. I still little bit confuse here on which brand to buy or take back my blink before it too late to return it. return date 1/15/23

Thanks for the video. My apologies, but I'm very new to this. I live in a secluded rural area with very little property crime. I don't really worry about security when I'm home. I have an older hardwired home security system that works well for break in, PIR, smoke/fire/CO. The annual fee is just about $80 more than my homeowner's insurance discount but I can't integrate cameras. I'm looking for outdoor video cameras for recording but don't want annual/monthly fees. I don't have a "smart home" yet, just recently got StarLink the only internet option in my area and its working very well. How do the camera alerts work when I'm away from home? Sorry for the stupid question. There is a gap in my knowledge.

You’d just need a wired NVR system, like the Alibi system I mention in this video. To get the alerts, you just need to connect the NVR to your Wi-Fi router.

I'm pretty handy and could install almost anything. I built my 2500sqft house so I know I can route wire to most places. Not sure I need much inside camera coverage as we have hardened our home and my old system was well designed when installed and then upgraded a few years ago after a lightning strike. Have had swann security system for 5 years now and one camera died in that time. It records to nvr 24/7 for 1 year then starts overwriting. It's also connected to the internet and snaps pictures whenever someone cross the perimeter I setup and is uploaded to the cloud.. (Dropbox) no monthly fees and has worked great I would recommend to anyone.
