While this project isn't as complex as building a particle accelerator, you make it look exceptionally easy. You have a gift for clarity and organization. Very good video.

You're absolutely right. I've built a few pieces of furniture myself with old wood pallets and as soon as I finished the first one I realised I should have sanded it before assembly. Never made that mistake again. I also stain and varnish before assembling.

If you are going to cut and plane your wood. Buy rough cut wood and save a bomb, it's a couple dollar in a saw mill. Ps badass video. O and if you made the shelves 3 ft 3 instead of the randomly selected 3 foot, to allow for the rope to be set in a little from the edges of the shelves. You would have had two studs to fix to as they are spaced 18 inches apart 😘 3:44

Thanks so much for the clear video, so much simpler than others! We are looking at making two of these for our first DIY project, one for store and one shallower but with padding on top to sit on. Would any adjustments be needed to sit on one of these? Thank you for helping educate us!

This is all well and good but where do all the pallets come from
@stevejohnson50355 жыл бұрын
You'll have to source them locally. Check stores for throw-aways, and around here, reclaimed wood shops will sell them, and normally they've been de-nailed or screwed making it easier for you to use. You can also use scrap wood, you don't have to use just old pallets.

I can see a future upgrade. A small loft to lay long material like that roll of fencing on so it does not take up a whole shelf. DIYers just keep on DIYing. 1:22
