I am so fortunate to be on the air with my son and witness such a loyal and gracious audience response. You folks are really special. During the unsteady climate we are all enduring in every corner of the world, the friendliness of this audience gives me hope and a reassurance that humanity will be better and at peace soon. Wow, that was a little heavy even for me, but that's how I feel.

Glen, you should be very proud, Max not only provides wisdom, but as someone who has dealt with him on a business level, he is fair and trustworthy, both very good qualities.

Been awhile Silverpicker! I just found a really odd 2006 North Dakota D Quarter. I haven't been able to find any info on this quarter but it has a very lifted rim around the edge, and it looks thicker than a normal quarter but maybe a little lighter? I'm thinking maybe it was a quarter stamped onto another blank coin?! I'm no expert and can't find answers anywhere. It looks like it's half copper (or whatever alloy they use today) and half clad but it's very very interesting. I'll try to link photos.
@JohnMarstonBlows2 жыл бұрын
So here's 3 pictures I took on the phone (sorry for lacking photo quality) but hopefully you can notice the pronounced lifted RAM on the edge of the quarter and also it is much thicker and then the way it is split looking like half copper half clad. Feels lighter than a normal quarter but don't have a scale right now. Haven't found any info on this error as mentioned above. If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it. I'm going to keep it anyways as I am an avid coin collector

My Father gave me his Fathers coin and stamp collection. The collection included my Fathers collection. I added to the collection. I'm presently holding the collection and adding to it. When my son retires from the Air Force and settles down, I'll pass the collection on to him. Some of the coins I've added from the 1930's, will be worth a bit when the grandkids inherit the collection.
