Just to clarify, Lot 733 - the 1999 Subaru 22B-STi Type UK is not a fully restored car, I got it confused with Lot 734, the 2004 Subaru Impreza WRC. is all original apart from some easily reversible modifications and is coming to market from almost 20 years with its owner. (The restoration comment actually refers to Lot 734, the 2004 Subaru Impreza WRC).

You have no clue about motorcycles. 🤦🏻♂️ The CB750 didn’t “start the Superbikes” (superbike wasn’t a new concept) and the British “didn’t have an answer” because the Triumph Trident actually came a bit BEFORE the Honda Four. It is just as fast and handles better (yes, IS. Because they still go like hell now and in the future). There were more motorcycles that outperformed the Honda at the time. It’s introduction got hysterical press because it was ‘exotic’, and the first 4-cilinder from Japan (yes, it was only the first Japanese 4-cilinder motorcycle).

Great video as always Harry. Car market slightly bonkers though: A brown Cosworth that, lets be honest...isn't the greatest looking thing in the world, for 60-70K...vs a (admittedly a replica, but a very nice one), GT40 for 40-50K...Of course in the real world these cars are incomparable, but since both are ''fun'' weekend cars right now, suddenly they compare again (at least in my head). If I'd fit...I'd know!

The Guzzi/Benelli 4 were absolute dogs of bikes. Harking back at the time when both Benelli and Guzzi were under the same disastrous de Tommaso management They were 250 because japanese bikes under 350 cc were limited and couldn't be basically imported into Italy. So Italian companies mostly left the over 350 cc world to foreign manufacturers and survived on military/police supply and on this little pieces of garbage

Cosworth Sierra, criminals dream car. My boss had his nicked and used on a ram-raid. They take off the bumpers etc so nothing gets snagged and smash the rear window so they can just throw their stuff straight in. He replaced that with another one and exactly the same thing happened! Both cars found burned out in the same spot and the travellers near by were not responsible. At all. Because they wouldn’t do something like that. Nice people. Needless to say my boss didn’t buy a third.
