When I bought this case about 2 years ago, your video wasn't published yet. I stumbled upon this through YT recommendations and figured that I have to press the controller button for 5 seconds for Aura Sync to detect the fans. I can finally have some dope colors. Thanks! PS: This isn't mentioned anywhere on the manual. I have the V2 of this case!

Can the fans be chained together and plugged into the motherboard 4 Pin PWM header? Can I control the speed? Also for the ARGB, all the 3 Pin ARGB cables will go into the Hub and then the cable will go into motherboard 3-Pin ARGB Header, right? Since I am new into building, and gonna be buying this case for my first attempt, just making sure if any Hub needs to be purchased. Thank you for the video and helpful insights.

In the pro version they is a 3 to 1 fan splitter for the front three fans. Then the rear fan would go into a separate header. You will need to control the fans through your UEFI or software like fan control (I do have videos for explaining both methods). For the argb everything can be plugged into the hub or you can daisy chain it together and disconnect it to your motherboard.

Yes the mode button, I went over it in the video. 8:00 I set up the hub to use the reset button on the case, but you can just use the mode button on hub as well.

I know it's a budget case but USB type-C would be a deal breaker for me. Have you ever ran across the Fractal Focus G it's another budget enclosure I like the patrol blue one.
@HardwareForGamers3 жыл бұрын
Type-c would have been nice, yeah it's not cheap. I did take a look at the Focus G (the white one) if your interested - kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJKsaKKNicalrZo

@@HardwareForGamers aw nice I thumbed through your past stuff totally missed it watching now the focus G is $39 on Newegg considering picking up a couple for budget build flips

Hi Erik, i have connected the 3 front fans to the rgb hub, i see that the rgb hub has a 5v female and a sata cable, do i need to plug both in?
@HardwareForGamers2 жыл бұрын
If you are using the ARGB hub you will need to plug in the SATA power cable for it to work. The female connector it to add extra ARGB elements (light strip more ARGB fans) If you are not using the ARGB hub then no you don't need to.

Hey, how are you? I bought the Fara R1 V2 Pro Case, and I wanted to install an RTX 4070 Aero in it. However, I also wanted to install a 360mm Water Cooler in the front, and I'm not sure if it will fit. Can you tell me if it fits? And if it doesn't fit, can I mount the water cooler fans on the front panel to have more space?
@jeremiahbautista7014 Жыл бұрын
Not sure if this would get noticed but my motherboard (B460M-A Pro) doesn't have an rgb/argb header (just normal sys fan). Do I need an argb fan hub or? I'm also planning to add more rgb fans
@HardwareForGamers Жыл бұрын
8:05 The pro version should come with an aRGB hub.

Hello. Do you think its a better option than the Cooler Master MB311L/MB320?

And if you cut out the honeycomb frame and remove the black knobs at the bottom and replace it with a tinpec Aluminum stand for Apple Mac, you can give the case a real high end look

are the fans PWM controlled? And if they are, between wich RPM?

That's what you get when there's good airflow, you don't need high RPM fans to have good temperatures.

Suggestion - Consider the majority of people finding this video via search (potential new subs), have done so because they've just purchased this case, have no idea how to wire up the RGBs, let alone at the point of understanding how to operate them, yet. Whilst you briefly mentioned it, it made absolutely no sense to a noob. Would have been good to see the actual install, & slowed down easier explanation re all that power button pressing. Many who understand what you said, prob don't need to watch the video.

Got this without the nonsense glass side panel and without RGB. Always think that stuff is cheesy and childish. It's a computer not a sports car so I just want something utilitarian.

100% agree with the no RGB, but I like the glass panel on my white 4000D airflow with a white custom water cooling loop.

@@HardwareForGamers Definitely understandable buddy, I just have to move the system around a lot and paranoid of bumping it on something and shattering it.
