Whenever I've come to draw or paint hair, I've always hinted at the form /texture etc, partly because it' doesn't form the main part of the painting and also I have a very sketchy style an understated approach. So I can appreciate and respect that you have spent some time on hair . I also like what you say about thinking of the flow 'like a river'

When I was younger I taught myself how to draw and I loved it. It was the early 90s and I didn't draw with dimensions or shadings so my pictures always looked flat. I'm now 44 and started to draw again. I'm enjoying it so much.
