The 100 Hair Tutorial - Octavia Blake

I mean, if you grew up under a floor and then survived a crash landing on an irradiated planet that's constantly trying to kill you, you'd probably just wake up looking this badass. But the rest of us need a little help so here's an Octavia Blake hair tutorial!
Difficulty: Moderately Easy - Moderate
Hair Length: at least shoulder length
Materials: small hair elastic(s)
Skills needed: Dutch braid, French fishtail
Time cost: 10-30 minutes

Love your videos. I am new to pretty long hair. Family told me I wouldn’t be good at taking care of it so I never grew it out. It’s nice to have simple detailed examples! I’m rock my hair now and stopped leaving long hair stands everywhere.

Love this hairstyle! I changed the French fishtail to a normal french braid though (it's easier to pull all of it into a pony tail)

If you don't like the scalp showing off after you braid your hair, you can use eyeshadow of your hair colour on the scalp to get a great finished look that will not bother you much.

Yvainnie Yup I'm keeping it around tailbone now. I don't want to have it longer because it's not necessary for my tutorials, and it's a pain to wash and wear haha.
