Great demo. I've owned a zendrive and zendrive 2 in the past, tried several other "D" pedals at local shops. Just purchased the simble recently. The simble beats most "D" pedals, imo, cause it gets along with neck pickups, while my zendrives only sounded amazing with a bridge pickup. Kudos to Map Professor for teaming up with Lassi Ukkonen and offering this great overdrive.

Ive got three Simbles, my main always-on pedal: almost clean, just brings organic tonal enhancement to the egosystem, also got the Royal Blue, treble at zero it accentuates my latest JAZZ find: the BOSS OD-3! just ordered a second one: at first I found it too low-middley, but: lowering the guitar vol just abit it turns into a very flat EQ ! I was goin to sell my two Royal Blues, but no: you just have to have some courage n patience to tweak the knobbies; Royal Blue with treb down doesnt make it extremely anything, likewise Boss OD-3`s a bit low-middley, but turning the guitars vol a bit down, eqs the EQ, if you know what I mean! it took me a while to fall in love with the Simble, Royal Blue and Boss OD-3...but a while well worth it! heartily recommended by me ! ( one more + to the Royal Blue, when turning gtr vol down its treble stays, so it kinda has treble bleed in it!!!!!) and I play solid state amps, so the Boss OD-3`s warm low middleyness might come handy , and just touching gtr vol, GUITARISTS: control your GUITAR volume WITH YOUR guitar volume! sometimes it helps the tone as well, depending on the pedal, and the neighboors are happier when the volume diminishes, Ha ha! Great playing by the way! I have both and an ethos. The simble is FAR more dynamic feeling and clearer top end IMHO. Even more dynamic than the Ethos. I'm a sucker for D style pedals and the Simble is the best so far!

Yeah earlier on I would agree but at the end the original Zen owned it on Money for Nothing..... just outstanding cut...

I have 3 Simbles, my always-on ped! just ordered a MI Crossover, one touchy pedal too... im sorry bout Ethos, Ive had J rockett Dude n HRM, and DMBL (mojohand) , BUTT none of them matcthes the mighty Mad Prof Simble...Clean

Great demo, I own both and for my setup (Strat and Fender amp) I like the Simble the best.

Cool video and nice playing, and tones.. If I might add, placing all dials at 12 oclock is often not the best way to make a comparison and can in many cases tilt the result. All electronic devices are not created equal even from one same part, part number-model to another especially across two completely different complex devices.

Hi GuysYes, very nice playng and tone. I have in my pedalboard, Zendrive, Wampler Exstasy and Xotix Ac Plus, I love Dumle tone and Robben Ford playng and when i think Robben Ford Heaven-tone i think Zendrive. Sorry my bad English.........

After owning both, I thought I preferred the simble. I was wrong. I can get a much more dynamic sound out of the zen (lovepedal).

+Kenneth Wade Dickert Totally agree.I have had the Zendrive for about 6 years and have just bought a Simble. Shouldn't have bothered!

That fatness of the Zendrive does it for me. I could go for that, run it through my Strat and 71 Surper Reverb. I did like the Simble as well.

funny. I have a 71 super reverb too. Bought it for a 75 but the components showed different on repair. Great amp.

I have owned a Zendrive for about five years and wouldn't use any other OD.......but after hearing this I have to say the Simble beats it! Not by much though.It is v.expensive and not that much better to tempt me into making a change.

+kingstumble OK couldn't resist so just bought a Simble.Very similar to my Zendrive but I prefer the Zen.A bit more output and slightly more definition.

I have a Timmy, a bb preamp and a Simble. They just sound amazing together, in all their combinations.. If i were you, i'll go for both.
