there actually was a sitcom about a single dad and his 5 daughters in 2000s in Russia. it was a silly and exaggerated one, but we as kids enjoyed it so much. this video and your comment brought back good memories :D

I really want to play in this build. As I was watching, I was coming up with a storyline in my head. His wife passed away giving birth to the twin girls and he had to sell their house and downsize because he wasn't making enough money to pay the bills. He was following his dream of owning a restaurant, but after the tragic loss of his wife, he had to get another job, he's working part time as a laborer and also working somewhere else (not sure where). The oldest daughter wants to be a famous musician, but she's also stepped into the role of the mother, helping her sisters with their homework, watching the toddlers, cooking on nights where the dad works late, all while managing to keep straight A's and work part time to help with money. The two kids try just as hard to make life easier on their dad, but they have a tendency to get into trouble a lot without meaning to. And finally the toddlers, going through life without a clue about the struggles. Eventually the oldest will go off to college and achieve her dream and on her father's birthday, she surprises him with a small run down building where he can make his dream come true. All the girls pitch in to help renovate the building and the father opens his restaurant and runs it for the rest of his life. When he finally passes away, the youngest toddler (now a young adult) takes over the business.

However I would love to be able to watch and use more single/couple apartments since I do not play family sims at all :( I don’t like playing kids and families but most of your build are family builds. I really like this Reshade. I haven’t tried Reshade yet but this actually finally convinced me to try it. I love the shadows and softness it adds. I think it gives the game even more depth and everything looks pretty.

Oh god you awoke my memory of this russian sitcom about dad and his 5 daughters...I'm absolutely in love with this apartment 🖤🖤 Edit: if I remember correctly in this sitcom their mother ran away with Canadian hockey player and in later season she came back. So we can maybe manage to pull that off too 😁 (don't mind me it's just me and my nostalgia)
