Is there anyway you can connect this amp to your phone through like Bluetooth and the music works through the amp?

I don't know about blue tooth, but: "Its 1/8″ MP3 input and 1/4 aux input with independent volume control allows you to mix in prerecorded backing tracks." That was copied and pasted from the Simmons website. Thanks for watching!

Hi - is it possible to plug a bass into the 2nd input and play with Edrums at the same time? thanks
@RockHardRiffs
@RockHardRiffs 4 жыл бұрын
jim allodi yes no problem. Only one of them will have a volume control though. I’d plug the bass into the main input and edrums (should have its own volume control) into the aux input. Rock on!

I'm in the search for a used Simmons DA50 and found they have a new mode out. The DA50B has Bluetooth technology so, you can connect, wirelessly, with your smartphone to play backing tracks! How cool is that! Just subbed and thank you!

Yes, it would. You could also pair it with a DA25. Great little amps!

So if I'm understanding you correctly, you are saying that I could power my electronic drums and an auxiliary at the same time... Such as a mic? Or does it need to be done by separate monitors? Reason I ask is that I got a Da25 with an alesis nitro mesh kit and I'd like to get a mic to go along with the drumming. Thanks man, I'm totally new to all this.

The DA 25 appears to only have one input, while the DA 50 has two. One has a volume control, the other doesn't. I hope this helps!

Hello! Thanks for the quick overview. I have a few questions. I have a Roland TD 1k kit . How can I plug this into my kit? What cables will it require and does they come bundled? Also, can I get output from the amp speakers and from a headphone at the same time while playing? Thank you in advance!
@RockHardRiffs
@RockHardRiffs 4 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for your comment and subscribing! I have the same kit. I use a guitar cable. Guitar cables have 1/4" tip-ring-sleeve connection, which needs to be adapted down to 1/8". Just get an adapter. No cables came with the kit or amp. Maybe some stores bundle that kind of thing. The headphone out is also a 'line out' jack as well....1/8" connector. Only headphones or amp at one time....not both. I hope this helps! Rock on!

@Boni Diaz Howdy! I just checked and it appears to have a 1/4" headphone/output jack, so that should be fine. Use a guitar cable. www.medeli.com.hk/315 Make sure to ask someone when and if you buy it. Don't take my word for it. Rock on!

If you use mono input can you plug something like a guitar to the other stereo input?
@RockHardRiffs
@RockHardRiffs 6 жыл бұрын
John DeF .....great question. I'm going to give you what Simmons has to say in the owners manual about these inputs word for word: 1. drum inputs: these are 1/4" jacks (left and right). When using a mono signal, plug into the left/mono jack. 2. Aux Input: this jack is used for connecting any pre-EQ source such as a click track. The volume of the Aux Input is controlled by the Aux Volume control. from the sounds of this....I'd have to say no, but I could be wrong. If you find out differently, please let me know!
