One tip everyone needs to know before eating a date. Cut/open lengthwise, remove pit, and INSPECT the inside. Some dates have an ant/small insect inside. Make sure to clean the inside before eating the date. Also, Sukkary means 'sugary;' this is the name of that specific kind because it's so sweet (as if date isn't sweet as is lol).

Except for granola needs to be cooked longer than most know in order for it not to be hard to digest. And if you do not get the organic oatmeal, you only get round up in your oatmeal... Which is very unhealthy. Organic oats have less round up spray.. Rinse before cooking and cook one hour.

The way I use them most is I make a date paste by soaking dates overnight (450 grams pitted dates to 3/4 cup water) in a pint mason jar. The next morning I dump the soaked dates and water into a vitamix with 1 T vanilla extract, and purée until smooth. I keep the date paste in the fridge and use a heaping T in my oatmeal, with ground flax, ground chia, homemade macadamia cashew butter, and a splash of unsweetened almond milk. OMG, so amazing.

Dis-sease is caused by acidic foods causing mucus and blockages. Fruits are easy to digest and alkalinizing to the body. However diabetics often need to be treated with fasting before fruiting so that basic systems can begin to recover. Think of fasting like a cast for a broken bone, only after the bone is set can gentle excercise (eating a fresh fruit diet help) This all can often trigger detox. The path back to true health is a journey and not always fun. But oh wow it is worth it.
