There has been a transfer committee the entire time Klopp has been at Liverpool. He's always had massive input. And there are several players, Mo Salah, specifically that were not Klopp signings. Klopp had to be persuaded by the scouts that that was the right guy. And the reality is no manager is negotiating contracts in mondern times. They utterly lack the legal background.

Regardless, these are people who've been around long enough to know that the "Head Coach" BS DOES NOT WORK! Its not about diminishing responsibility. Hes largely unproven. If he has great success on the training pitch then he will get more influence in the boardroom. We want the best for Liverpool so the transfer committee can select the players until they prove they’re not capable and then everyone will be calling for change or they may have got it right and it all works out great

Few know how Slot will perform but the Club has employed Edwards and further experts to make the right choice. Will it succeed who knows there is no sure thing so the best thing you can do is go with a manager who best suits the profile of how the club currently plays from youth right through the first team, the smaller the adjustment the less of a culture shock. Nobody should feel entitled, the man needs time and patience as most people in new roles deserve. I'm not worried it's football and if it was only about winning trophies 99 percent of clubs wouldn't exists. Its saturday to saturday those 90 minutes, the journey ups and downs. Love your club but entitlement just brings misery.
