Chelsea fan here, but the amount of stick Arsenal are getting is ridiculous. They've spent the last 10 year struggling to get top 4, and now after a few years of pressure, Arteta has built a solid team that has consistently challenged for the Premier League against 2 very tough sides. They're a point behind City! It's not like they've imploded and lost a bunch of games at the end of the season. Liverpool fall short every year and never get labelled as bottlers. Media narrative is pathetic!! Even if Arsenl finish 2nd, it's still an impressive season for them!

I don't agree with Simon's analysis of Arsenal last season at all... we lost the season in the FA Cup round facing Man City... Arteta put out a far weakened side which ended up getting beat and compounded the 'we can't beat Man City trope'... that defeat damaged us psychologically, which then fed into 'Arsenal never win at Liverpool trope' game... then teams started to work out how to play and beat Arsenal...people forget it took teams almost all season to get to grips with Arsenal's new tactics... the run of bad games also happened at the same time Ramsdale and his partner lost their baby... this season, we are much improved, but teams are improving on their tactics.... had Arsenal put their chances away in the 2 Villa games this season.. it would have been very very different games... but dems the breaks!!

This season yes Liverpool did bottle it, dropping points in back to back very winnable games in the run in is choking by Liverpool. I don't know how you as an Arsenal have the audacity to use the word bottle or choke when that's what your club is famous for. Liverpool and City a few years back would win every game in the run in, so how could that be Liverpool bottling it? Did you think they bottled it when they got 98 points lost one league game all season away vs City and lost the league by 1 point? My advice is come down off your high horse when you are going on about a Liverpool team in transition going from 1st to 3rd on mere goal difference. In the history of the premier league no team has been in 1st place more than Arsenal after the Christmas period and not gone on to win the title and a club that never won in Europe. BOTTLERS.
