Simon is correct. Wales have done brilliantly to qualify for recent tournaments and losing to Poland on penalties in the final of the playoffs is not a disgrace based on the pool of talent. It's a risky job to take for a young manager as expectations exceed reality

Why is he up himself? Everyone has to pretend that the Celts have international quality teams? Scotland - never qualified out of the group - are certainly not in the top 16 teams in Europe, Wales (without Bale) are very poor, and the Irish teams are even worse. Jordan calls this out. Why is that arrogant? Seems you would rather avoid confronting the reality of the situation - not engage with what the man is actually saying. No doubt much easier to defsult to how his comments make you “feel” about English people. Seems to be a “you” problem👍

The England job is as bad, having to deal with delusional fan expectations and a babbling press still obsessed with a trophy that was won nearly 60 years ago. England have won one (at home) trophy in over 100 years, England are a tier 2 football nation and Wales probably 3rd tier.
