Leeds are a club that have been badly run over many years and definitely should have done better. There was a steady decline after Revie left, a failure to capitalise after Wilkinson got promotion and won the league, whilst the O'Leary period was built on a house of cards created under the disastrous Ridsdale stewardship. Radz did his best, brought in Bielsa but ultimately didn't have the cash to back him sufficiently to stay in the PL and relied too much on Orta who wasted a lot of money on poor signings. Let's hope the 49ers can now do better but they've got to get it right on the pitch first.

Leeds… officially the fourth largest city in the UK and one of the richest. It’s GDP is way ahead at £74 Billion..compared to Sheffields 17 billion, Liverpools 45 billion and Newcastles 26 billion. Our population is two and half times that of Newcastle. Leeds is the biggest centre outside of London for finance, law and banking. Leeds United has officially one of the biggest world wide fan bases of any major club. Forbes last year valued Leeds as the 19th most valuable club in the world even in the current state due to its image and mass appeal. It’s nothing to do with trophies…Manchester United have been dire compared to Manchester City for the last ten years as city have won everything, yet United are valued at nearly double that of city. Leeds is a club, big city and if we hadn’t have been run by clueless morons for over twenty five years, this club would be on par with Liverpool and that’s a fact…near 38,000 sellout every home game ( and that’s relegated ) with over 26,000 on the season ticket waiting list for over the last three years…that’s 64,000 at home games.
