Way cool video! The battery in my T3 is under the passenger seat! So watching you empty out the back I'm thinking "what the heck?"... Nice that you had an emergency starter battery. Will have to look into those. Mostly I've been able to bump start my van when I've left the lights on etc.

Thanks! Yeah, some of the vans are laid out a bit differently. A new alternator fixed this issue luckily, although that jump starter will always remain as a part of our kit!

We have friends in central Europe that give us some pointers. And we have done a LOT of research before we started driving! Basically we wanna do cool hikes and see beautiful mountains etc.

Thanks James :) Yes, it’s originally a 1.6TD (JX) engine, but we are shortly done converting it to a 1.9 TDK AAZ engine

Hey, thank you!😊 Zermatt is a car-free village, so you’ll need to enter it by train. There is a big car park where you can leave your car before getting on the train.

Tim We only went there because we really wanted to see the Matterhorn. It was incredibly beautiful, but we paid a premium for it! The train taking you up there is really expensive. So it depends on your priorities, Switzerland is full of other beautiful places too!

@@SimonBraeck Cool, when i see all these problem being on the road it can be very annoying. As ex carmechanic i always plan ahead on maintenance on every car i have. Internet has good deals. And double the capacity helps as well. I know the T-3 in and out and they can be difficult sometimes.

@@SimonBraeck ok cool keep on going with the old bus. I can dream every bolt and nut of these T-3's. I am 59 y old now and into 4x4's. Classic Range rover is my thing, i own a 1978 2 door in new condition. One day i will drive up to Norway with it. My son studied 6 months in Trondheim and he took lots of pictures. Nice place it is.

It’s okay, it uses a lot of oil and we definitely get overtaken a lot, but we get by. We’re two people and a dog with a lot of gear and a full water tank which weighs a lot. I’m quite impressed :)

The path was muddy and very slippery. She kept pulling and throwing us out of balance. We later found out she went down that hill to chase a squirrel... Well well, lesson learned. She is alright☺️ Thanks for watching!
