Yeah, 2TB of photos/videos haha! My harddrive failed but luckily I got the files recovered. That’s why the videos are late. Great, the best is yet to come😃

Guys, is it possible to to make such roofbed on a van that didn't have it, or it is not? Cause you had it in stock, but I have the same van but it is not a camper and I want such roof. Sorry, my English is not perfect, but I hope you understand.

Loved the second episode of your Eurotrip. That mountain in Swiss is what you see in the logo of the Swiss chocolate Toblerone. Hopefuly the car can keep you going for long. Always little something along the way.

Way cool video! The battery in my T3 is under the passenger seat! So watching you empty out the back I'm thinking "what the heck?"... Nice that you had an emergency starter battery. Will have to look into those. Mostly I've been able to bump start my van when I've left the lights on etc.

Thanks! Yeah, some of the vans are laid out a bit differently. A new alternator fixed this issue luckily, although that jump starter will always remain as a part of our kit!

Yeah, that’s a first! Cool experience. It’s a rather pricey train ride to go there, but we thought it was worth it :)

@@SimonBraeck For that experience, I would think it would be worth it...probably better than the Glacial Express, in my opinion. I remember liking some parts of Switzerland but not having the time to hike and explore.

Thank you Lukas! :) We focused to little on the mechanical stuff because we needed to change all of the interior. Anyway, bring some spare parts and tools and you’ll be good. Good luck!

Thanks John :) We had trouble with our sound setup so it was hard to recover the sound without messing up the quality. Will try to improve it though🤙🏼

We have friends in central Europe that give us some pointers. And we have done a LOT of research before we started driving! Basically we wanna do cool hikes and see beautiful mountains etc.

Thanks James :) Yes, it’s originally a 1.6TD (JX) engine, but we are shortly done converting it to a 1.9 TDK AAZ engine

Hey, thank you!😊 Zermatt is a car-free village, so you’ll need to enter it by train. There is a big car park where you can leave your car before getting on the train.

That place is called Partnachklamm, just by the Olympiastadion in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Tim We only went there because we really wanted to see the Matterhorn. It was incredibly beautiful, but we paid a premium for it! The train taking you up there is really expensive. So it depends on your priorities, Switzerland is full of other beautiful places too!

Please consider switching off the lights of your car when (kick)starting, anything that drains can prevent the start from happening.

@@SimonBraeck Cool, when i see all these problem being on the road it can be very annoying. As ex carmechanic i always plan ahead on maintenance on every car i have. Internet has good deals. And double the capacity helps as well. I know the T-3 in and out and they can be difficult sometimes.

@@SimonBraeck ok cool keep on going with the old bus. I can dream every bolt and nut of these T-3's. I am 59 y old now and into 4x4's. Classic Range rover is my thing, i own a 1978 2 door in new condition. One day i will drive up to Norway with it. My son studied 6 months in Trondheim and he took lots of pictures. Nice place it is.

How is your van dealing with the hills? I saw below its also diesel and its a similar age to mine '85/'86?

It’s okay, it uses a lot of oil and we definitely get overtaken a lot, but we get by. We’re two people and a dog with a lot of gear and a full water tank which weighs a lot. I’m quite impressed :)

The path was muddy and very slippery. She kept pulling and throwing us out of balance. We later found out she went down that hill to chase a squirrel... Well well, lesson learned. She is alright☺️ Thanks for watching!

Man... I love your videos and love your t3 conversion. I am going to convert a t5 in about half a year after my stay in Australia and would love to travel a little with you guys. Maybe in Norway and you could show me some secret places only Norwegians know :)) (@phillip_rs on insta)
