That looks promising! The fact that the old starter had that broken wire on it could well have been your issue all along!

Yes could definitely have been! Now the wire was connected but very poorly, it had corrosion, dirt, the adhesive from the tape was all in between the strands. It looked a mess 🤣🤣

Having a slow start on my T25 also can a faulty starter cause a slight overheating.. Sunday drove for 4hrs after the camper did not start at all, Was this the issue with yours ie starter playing up?

Hey! The starter itself could over heat. I'm not sure about the engine over heating. Ours would just randomly not start and just click. Once we took it out and wired it up it worked fine. Put it back in and nothing. It seemed like it wouldn't work underload. New starter and everything seems fine

@@clarknicolas6780 Don't qoute me on this. In my model I don't think you do. But people do say to change it. What engine have you?
