Am very much enjoying your "no money" challenges. I have yet to see you explore the insides of any of the churches you've admired from the outside. The Duomo is incredible, as are most larger cathedrals in Italy and Europe in general. Smaller churches can also be spectacular, and many offer dark and quiet nooks where you could rest for a few hours, or even overnight. Scope out crypts, balconies, areas behind side altars or between/under pews. Churches, Simon, for the art, the architecture...and more practical reasons.

I live in Milan, and honestly I felt like you were not even bothered to search on the Internet any other attraction. You make it seem like a dull city, and of course it looks like it doesn't have anything to offer, because you only stayed around the same area. You could have walked to the Sforzesco Castle and Sempione Park until the Arch of Peace. I love that area, especially at night. Then you could have seen the Arena, and visited the 20th Century's Museum and Brera's art gallery. They are usually free of charge on the first Sunday of the month. Well, most museums are free of charge on those days, and you can even get a ridiculous discount to get on the top of the Duomo cathedral. If you have no money, you can't buy bus tickets, so I understand that you couldn't visit other places like Corso Como, Navigli or City Life. But the ones I mentioned above, are quite near the cathedral.

ridiculous discount doesn't really mean much if you're needing it to be free.....and it's possible he did look up all those places but it wasn't the "one day out of 30" that would have been possible to get into with no money....

If you want to survive somewhere without money, you should at least do some research beforehand. In January of this year I had a rough breakup and was sitting round feeling depressed with nothing to do, So I thought screw it and brought a ticket to goto Prague by myself on a solo trip. Absolutely terrifying but the feeling of freedom and the weight I felt off my shoulders was amazing. Totally refreshed me mentally and I decided to stop sulking and get on with living my life. Since then ive been to Prague, Lithuania, Benidorm and Munich this year and I dont aim to stop anytime soon. I love watching your videos and they bring the back that feeling of freedom I had at the start of the year. PS - totally down for joining on a 3 day challenge if you want another north wales boyo

Nice video but... You just visited the center, I would say the EPICENTER of Milano. There is much more to see. City Life, Porta Nuova, many shopping centers, not to mention the nightlife that in Milan is amazing...

I live in Milan, and I love City Life, the Duomo, Castello Sforzesco and the area around Arco della Pace and Sempione's park, Teatro alla Scala, Corso Como, Navigli, the Arena... Sorry to disappoint you but you've seen nothing of Milan. There are places like "Castello Sforzesco", City Life, "Il bosco verticale" "La Scala" and lots of art galleries to visit (and these are only the most famous tourist attractions). Another thing is that Milan's city center is a lot bigger than you think and every place is expansive, so if you have no money you should have gone to cheeper places.

He definitely behaved differently from when he was in other cities, it almost looks like he didn't really WANT to enjoy Milan. That's what somehow pisses me off.
